Leaving aside Chris, who had been brutally beaten, Su Qing leisurely arrived at the third floor.
This time was different from the previous two levels. Before him appeared a vast and boundless sea of fire. Beneath his feet was a giant rock, surrounded by burning flames. The ground was filled with flowing lava, and giant rocks floated on the lava, forming a path leading forward.
"The third challenge: get through this sea of fire!"
The vast and ethereal voice rang out once more.
This test assesses the compatibility between the person entering and the legacy left by the owner of this site.
These burning flames are all battle qi flames, and only those with exceptional talent in fire battle qi can pass through them.
Su Qing stared at this path. He had virtually no talent for fire, and his bloodline was not related to fire at all. It would be extremely difficult for him to pass through safely!
He sighed; he didn't want to cheat.
A section of the patterns on the scales lit up, a sudden gust of wind arose, howling and swirling the flames, clearing a safe path.
Stepping on the boulders, Su Qing made her way through step by step.
The road was long, and Su Qing walked slowly for nearly an hour before finally passing the third checkpoint.
The patterns on the scales faded, and the wind subsided.
But it seemed that the wind had just fanned the flames, making the surrounding fire even more ferocious and violent than before.
Su Qing was worried that Chris might be burned to death when he arrived.
With his face bruised and swollen, Chris felt a chill run down his spine as he looked at the flames in front of him.
After venting his anger by beating the black-robed ghost, he told him some information about the third floor and some tips for clearing it as an apology.
But the flames seem to be much fiercer than that guy just said.
He realized that bravery was also one of the qualities of a knight, and in order to realize his dream of becoming the greatest knight, he gritted his teeth and charged into the sea of fire.
Flames of battle aura exploded on his skin, but he endured the pain and moved forward swiftly.
Su Qing leisurely walked into the fourth floor.
Stepping off the stairs, darkness enveloped him, and a vast, ethereal voice echoed in his ears: "The Fourth Level!"
A light appeared before him, and a man dressed like a king stood before him, his voice filled with sorrow: "My daughter has been kidnapped by a wicked dragon. You are the bravest warrior in the kingdom. Are you willing to take on the task of rescuing my daughter?"
"Then what can you give me?"
Su Qing is very realistic; according to the usual formula, the king should give the warriors some items.
This will make the story more dramatic!
The king was taken aback. Why would this guy ask for things? Was he really that inconsiderate?
But he still spoke up: "I have the fastest horse in the whole kingdom, the sharpest sword in the whole kingdom, and a loaf of bread that will never run out. I believe these things can help you defeat the evil dragon!"
Su Qing looked at him, glancing at him sideways with her eyes: "Do you even believe that yourself?"
The king was stumped again. Why was this guy not playing by the rules again?
After thinking about it, I realized I should ask, "What do you need?"
Su Qing curled his lips. Even if he made the request, the king wouldn't be able to fulfill it, so he was too lazy to waste words and simply agreed.
Holding the sword the king gave him, riding the horse the king gave him, and with a loaf of bread the king gave him in his mouth, he leisurely set off on his journey.
This should be an illusion magic circle, but the magician who set it up is quite skilled, and the surrounding scenery is very realistic, with flowers, plants, birds and animals.
He kept moving forward in the sky, where the sun and moon changed quickly, symbolizing time.
About ten days later, Su Qing saw a small town ahead.
The town was bustling with activity. In the center of the town stood an ancient tree laden with golden apples.
The townspeople surrounded the fruit tree, chattering amongst themselves.
Su Qing walked silently by, and after walking a short distance, someone called out to him: "Warrior passing by, can you help us?"
An elderly man with white hair caught up with them, his breathing still rapid.
"What's the matter?"
Su Qing greeted the elderly man warmly and inquired about his well-being with concern.
"It's like this, I'm the mayor of this town..."
Su Qing was led by the old man to the golden apple tree.
“There is a golden apple tree in our town. It is a treasure of our town. Darcy is the hero who guards the golden apple tree, but now he is sick and we don’t know what to do.”
The old mayor said with great concern, "For the past few dozen days, he has become extremely hungry, eating frantically. We don't know what to do!"
Su Qing watched as the monster, nearly four meters tall, with green skin and two sharp horns, was tied to a tree and desperately cried out that it was hungry.
This must be the time when the prop that makes you never run out of bread comes in handy, right?
Su Qing decided to follow the plot, took out bread and let the monster eat it, and then received the monster's gratitude, which resulted in the monster giving him a golden apple.
Su Qing held the golden apple in her hand and was surprised to find that it seemed to be real.
The golden apple is indeed a natural magical item, possessing powerful vitality.
Upon inspection, it was discovered that it really was a golden apple, and Su Qing was overjoyed.
He placed his sword against the monster's neck: "Now we're robbing them. Men, stand on the left; women, stand on the right; those who are neither male nor female, stand in the middle!"
The voice was calm and even, and everyone was stunned. Things seemed to have taken a strange turn.
Su Qing had all the golden apples on the tree picked, more than twenty in total, packed them up, and then slowly left.
Meanwhile, Chris finally passed the third level, his face bruised and swollen, his body burned, and he stepped into the fourth level in a sorry state.
