Chapter 88 Ah, Shirley!

Amuro Tooru didn't explain anything further, but waited quietly.

After Gin finished his reflections, a sinister smile appeared on his face.

"Do as you say, Bourbon."

"I think this might be an extremely brilliant plan..."

"Ah, Shirley! I can't wait to see your face again..."

Amuro Tooru agreed and left.

From that day on, these words began to appear in an inconspicuous spot in the comments section of the local newspaper.

Ordinary people can't understand it.

You can probably guess that "Mingmei" is a girl who is bound by something, such as her family or company, and she finally manages to break free from it.

"Dae-gun" is of course her lover, and "that park" is the place where they used to date.

But it is unknown which park it is.

Therefore, even if some curious people want to find out more, they cannot get in.

No one paid much attention to the long-haired young woman who appeared every night by the fountain in Mihana Park.

About a week passed quietly like this.

"Brother, I don't think this will work," Vodka, who had been following Gin around, suggested.

"Sherry could certainly guess that the message sent in her sister's name must be from the organization."

"Whether the organization's target is the undercover agent or her personally, she will not appear."

Why did you agree to Bourbon's foolish plan?

Gin laughed coldly.

"Is it stupid?"

"Isn't this just right?"

"Only foolish traps attract foolish lambs!"

"Ah, Sherry!..."

Upon hearing his elder brother's sentiments, Vodka knew that there was no point in trying to persuade him otherwise.

For Gin, capturing and eliminating the traitor Sherry was not only about protecting the organization's safety, but also a personal obsession.

This obsession, which is hard to define as either love or hate, probably began the moment the older brother joined the organization and met Sherry, who was just a little kid at the time.

...

The long-haired woman with black hair in Mihana Park still appears on time every night.

Judging from her appearance, she was wearing light spring clothes and only had a women's handbag with her, so she should not pose any threat.

Of course, only Gin and his loyal follower Vodka knew that Bourbon, in disguise, had strapped a silenced pistol to the inside of his thigh under his skirt.

Judging from Bourbon's marksmanship, if someone gets close to him and is locked onto by him, they should only have time to turn around, and won't even be able to run a single step.

Unless... it really is that former FBI elite agent, Moroboshi Dai, whose original codename was "Rye Whiskey".

That's impossible, of course.

Given the FBI's extensive intelligence network, they should have known about Miyano Akemi's death as early as six months ago.

Even professional agents wouldn't fall for such an obvious trap.

Only Shirley.

Foolish Sherry, who developed poison but refused to conduct human experiments.

Sherry betrayed her organization and ran away for the sake of a few high school cannon fodders.

Even knowing that the man indirectly caused her sister's death, Sherry still tried to stop him from falling into the organization's trap...

Ah, Shirley!

Gin waited with great anticipation.

...

While waiting, the time was pushed back another 8 days.

As usual, it was 7:00 PM at Mihana Park, on a bench by the fountain.

The dark-haired woman was sitting there again.

This time, she seemed to be trying to relieve her boredom, holding a small book in her hand.

But after turning only a few pages, it got dark.

The woman could only close the book and sit there gazing up at the deep blue sky.

"It seems like I haven't gained anything again..." she said, as if talking to herself.

But a voice immediately came through the earphones hidden under the long hair.

"Don't rush, Bourbon, wait a little longer."

Almost at the same moment those words were spoken, something was thrown from behind and hit the woman's arm.

Amuro Tooru, disguised as Miyano Akemi, turned his head to look, pretending not to care.

Another small twig gently tapped his shoulder.

Then there was a small pebble.

Then there were small branches, still covered with tender leaves.

It looks like it was just picked up from the ground.

"What?!" Amuro Tooru feigned displeasure, gesturing reproachfully towards the bushes and path. "Stop playing pranks!"

However, another twig was thrown at us.

"That's enough, what do you want?" Amuro Tooru called out in Miyano Akemi's voice as he walked towards the bushes.

There, a swaying figure could be vaguely seen.

But when Amuro Tooru darted into the bushes, he discovered it was just a jacket hanging on a branch.

A soft sound came from behind him.

"despair".

Amuro Tooru, an expert on firearms, realized that it was the sound of a pistol being released from its safety.

He turned around quickly, and right in front of him was the dark muzzle of a gun.

The girl with short brown hair held guns in both hands and pointed them at him.

Who exactly are you?

Shiho Miyano asked in a cold voice, "Akami Miyano."

"Shiho?" Amuro Tooru smiled slightly and answered in an impeccable voice, "I'm your older sister!"

"Don't worry, I..."

"Shut up!" Shiho Miyano roared, her eyes glistening with tears.

"My sister is dead. You killed her!"

"You actually have the nerve to impersonate her!"

"Oh dear!" Amuro Tooru reached out and casually pressed his earpiece. "So you knew it was a trap all along!"
