Chapter 247 Industrial VR

Chairman Zheng, despite being the chairman, has always worked on the front lines of scientific research; I deeply admire his spirit and perseverance.

After a brief exchange of pleasantries, the executives from Huawai got straight to the point:

"Our relevant business leaders have also had several rounds of discussions. Mr. Li, you should be very clear about our purpose in coming to Huawei and our vision for Industry 4.0."

My main purpose in coming here is to reach a preliminary agreement with Mr. Li on a collaboration.

Communication between companies, even between middle-level managers, involves repeated communication among frontline employees to determine the time and content.

Not to mention the number two figures of giants like Huawei and Kechuang Bio.

“I have a general understanding of your company’s strategic vision for smart industry. After I reported to Chairman Zheng, he believed that industrial VR is a very promising direction.”

However, we still have some doubts about who we should cooperate with.

"The purpose of our meeting with you, Mr. Hu, is to hopefully answer our questions."

"Please speak."

"We want to know where Huawei's advantages lie in the field of smart industry."

To put it simply, it's about the necessity of collaborating with Huawei in the industrial VR field.

"This is easy to explain; industrial VR ultimately involves a signal transmission problem."

People need communication equipment to operate equipment in different locations via industrial VR.

Industrial and personal use are distinct concepts.

When we personally use FutureVverse to play games, we don't find a 35-millisecond latency to be a problem.

A network fluctuation is nothing more than the death of a character in a game.

However, this doesn't apply to industrial applications, which have strict requirements regarding network latency and fluctuations.

Industrial VR obviously cannot tolerate network fluctuations with too large an amplitude.

With over twenty years of experience in the communications field, I can say without exaggeration that Huawei is absolutely number one in China's communications industry.

Of course, communication stability and latency are only one aspect of the necessity.

In this collaboration, Sci-Tech Biotechnology is the stronger party.

Industrial VR is not important to Kechuang Biotechnology. They already have enough business and don't need any new growth for the time being.

Moreover, Huawei is not the only company capable of industrial VR, but Kechuang Bio is the only one with brain-computer interface VR technology.

When brain-computer interface VR first came out, Microsoft approached Kechuang Bio to discuss cooperation, but Zheng Li was being targeted by America at the time, so he did not agree to Microsoft's cooperation.

Microsoft assumed that Kechuang Biotech rejected them because of technology protection concerns.

Li Miaomiao continued, "President Hu, I understand. Huawei's technological expertise in communications is indeed widely recognized in the industry."

My dad used to use a Huawei phone, and he always praised your phone's signal strength.

Another question I'd like to ask is, why use the HarmonyOS system?

We already have an existing brain-computer interface VR system, so why do we need to develop a separate industrial VR system based on HarmonyOS?

It can be easily modified from the existing system.
