Chapter 301 She Knows Her Limits

Jingqian finished the drink in one gulp, followed by a long, drawn-out burp.

He didn't really like this brown sugar water the first time he drank it.

But after a couple more sips, he found himself getting a little tipsy.

Now I like to show off a couple of bottles whenever I have a spare moment, otherwise I feel uneasy.

As for her health, Jingqian said she didn't care.

As a celestial being, he is immune to 99.99% of the world's poisons, let alone a little bit of carbonated sugar water.

He put down the bottle in his hand, only to find that Su Yang had been just holding the drink and looking at him the whole time.

Upon seeing this, Jingqian immediately joked, "What are you looking at me for? Do you think I have something on my face too?"

As he spoke, he reached out and touched his face, just like Su Yang had done before.

But the other party pointed it out.

This immediately made Su Yang blush, and he hurriedly looked away.

But his fair and delicate face made him seem so easy to understand.

The girl's thoughts were laid bare, which made Jingqian laugh and find it even more interesting.

I gently unscrewed the cap, tilted my head back slightly, and slowly drank it.

As he did this, the tiny water droplets on Su Yang's hair and face slowly began to slide down, then gathered at his delicate chin.

As he swallowed, the single, glistening drop finally dripped onto his chest.

A small area was damp.

The already slightly see-through t-shirt became even more transparent, revealing glimpses of fair skin beneath, which seemed to glow faintly.

Jing Qian also happened to see this scene.

From his perspective, he could even see the fine downy hairs on Su Yang's delicate face.

Their gazes unconsciously drifted towards Su Yang's chest.

But then he realized just how inappropriate his behavior was, and silently looked away.

I started pretending to gaze into the distance, trying to hide the ripples in my heart.

Su Yang didn't put down the bottle until he had drunk about half of it and felt a bit full.

In fact, he had been paying attention to Jingqian's changes all along.

While the allure of being wet isn't entirely absent, it's certainly not overwhelming.

This surprised Su Yang somewhat, as he had never thought that Jing Qian was such a virtuous gentleman.

However, it is clear that the other party has not cultivated to the point of being without desire.

This can be seen from the fact that the other party still reacted.

It's not that the other person has no feelings for him; it's just that it seems like as long as one's will is strong enough, one can completely say no to him!

Su Yang thought for a moment, then continued to pretend he knew nothing and started chatting with Jing Qian about everyday things.

The best way to build rapport is obviously to talk to them about their family and relatives.

As for why he didn't continue playing, it was obviously because the weather was too hot and he was too tired.

"Jingqian, you should have a younger sister, right? I remember her name was Jingxin. Did something happen to her?"

Everyone could hear what the deity was saying at the time, so it wasn't surprising that he knew Jingqian had a younger sister.

Upon hearing this, Jing Qian's gaze returned to Su Yang.

But we still avoided some places.

He pondered for a moment, but still spoke up and briefly told Su Yang about Jingxin's situation.

Of course, it's really brief enough, so brief that it's as if it said nothing at all.

At least after listening, Su Yang knew nothing except that the other party's sister had been in a coma for a long time.

"Oh, let's not talk about that anymore, let's talk about you."

Jingqian changed the subject at the right moment and brought it up to Su Yang.

"Me?" Su Yang was surprised. What did he have to say?

After hesitating for a moment, Jing Qian still braced himself and asked, "Has Xia Lian been bullying you these past few days?"

Although his older brother had told him more than once not to meddle in other people's family affairs.

But perhaps because she had played basketball with Su Yang and their relationship had become much closer, Jing Qian inevitably started to care about this matter again.

Hearing Jing Qian ask this question, Su Yang was naturally even more surprised.

Although he knew that Xia Lian's undisguised covetousness towards his disciple was obvious to anyone with eyes.

But he really didn't expect Jingqian to ask him that.

His thoughts raced through his mind, and in an instant, Su Yang roughly understood what the other person was thinking.

Combining this with what the deity had said, he guessed that the other party must have been moved by the scene.

This discovery delighted Su Yang. He had been worried that the other party was unyielding, but he had inadvertently revealed his weakness.

An idea instantly came to mind.

A hint of panic flashed across Su Yang's face, but he quickly regained his composure and said, "My master loves me the most, so how could she possibly bully me?"

Why do you ask that?

Although Su Yang pretended to be very convincing, acting as if he didn't understand what he was talking about.

However, Jing Qian wasn't stupid. Especially after seeing the fleeting look of panic on the other person's face earlier, he knew without even thinking that Su Yang was definitely faking it.

She couldn't help but guess that Xia Lian had probably done a lot of excessive things to her in the past three days.

I feel a little sorry for her.

When he looked at Su Yang's feigned indifference again, Jing Qian suddenly felt that Su Yang's face seemed to overlap with another face.

And that face belonged to none other than his sister, Jingxin.

There was a time when Jinghua had not yet become emperor, and their teacher had not yet died.
