Chapter 33 Tranquility

Chapter Thirty-Three: Tranquility

After hearing what Su Yang said, Lin Fan did not believe it.

But I couldn't help asking, "How do you plan to help me?"

His current situation is already quite bad, how much worse can it get? There's no harm in listening to what this person has to say.

Seeing Lin's seemingly resigned attitude, Su Yang simply stopped teasing him.

And so, in front of Lin Fan, she removed the Thousand Illusions from her face, revealing a bright and sunny one.

"You are... Young Master Su!"

When Su Yang regained his true form, Lin Fan was shocked!

At the same time, my mood was like a roller coaster, with ups and downs.

Looking at that familiar face, Lin Fan never expected that the person holding the fan was actually Su Yang!

Her previously chaotic state of mind was calmed down upon seeing Su Yang.

Su Yang put a finger to his lips, signaling Lin Fan not to make a fuss, and then brought Qian Huan along.

Suppressing his excitement and joy, Lin Fan nodded solemnly.

The fact that Young Master Su disguised himself to enter the Great Xia Academy naturally means that it is inconvenient for him to show his true face.

He guessed that the other party was also there for the Eternal Dragon Pool.

However, the other party had been kind to his sister, and the wisp of fiery energy he had given her had helped his sister calm her internal coldness several times. Naturally, he could not possibly ruin the other party's important plans.

Moreover, the fact that the other party allowed him to know about this matter is enough to demonstrate their trust in him, making it even less likely that he would do something to expose Su Yang.

After his appearance was restored to Yang Shu, Su Yang looked at Lin Fan and smiled, "My name is Yang Shu now. Don't get me wrong in the manor."

"Don't worry, young hero, I will keep this matter to myself," Lin Fan assured earnestly.

Nodding, Su Yang generally approved of the character of the protagonist in the old-fashioned online novel.

Bringing the conversation back to Lin Fan's murder case, Su Yang asked, "Who is this guy? What did he do to you?"

Perhaps because he knew that the person in front of him was Su Yang, Lin Fan was no longer flustered and told him the whole story without hesitation, but he still chose to keep the matter of the True Dragon Soul a secret.

This matter is too important; it's best if no one else knows about it except him.

Su Yang knew that Lin Fan had secrets he hadn't told him all, and he didn't expect the other party to be completely open with him.

Under Lin Fan's watchful gaze, Su Yang pointed his sword, and a wisp of flickering orange-yellow flame landed on Lin Li's corpse, instantly burning everything in its path to ashes.

Then, with a surge of Su Yang's true essence, the ashes transformed from Lin Li's corpse simply vanished into the world.

After doing all this, Su Yang opened his fan with one hand and fanned away the lingering ashes in the air in front of him. Then he said to Lin Fan, "If anyone comes looking for you, just say that I killed him and let him come find me. Don't worry, it's just killing someone. The Great Xia Academy can't do anything to me."

Su Yang spoke very calmly. Being the personal disciple of a powerful king was a troublesome matter for Lin Fan, but for him, it was nothing more than that.

It's entirely possible that the people investigating this matter will terminate the investigation once they hear that it was him.

Although Lin Fan didn't know where Su Yang got his confidence from, seeing how calmly he took the blame, he understood that the other party had something to rely on.

After thinking for a moment, he bowed deeply to Su Yang and said, "Brother Su, Brother Yang! Lin Fan will not forget this matter. If you ever need my help in the future, I will do my utmost!"

This was the third time the other party had lent a helping hand. After years of suffering humiliation, anyone would want to kick him while he was down. Suddenly, someone didn't care about his status as a good-for-nothing and helped him one after another. Lin Fan was filled with gratitude beyond measure, and he was even on the verge of tears.

Patting Lin Fan on the shoulder, Su Yang smiled and said, "You're overreacting. It's just a favor. We're destined to meet, so I'm helping you."

"It's getting late. I just picked up my badge and school uniform from the auditorium and haven't even had a chance to go to the dormitory to register yet when I ran into you. If you really want to thank me, then take me to the dormitory. This foreign language department is so big that it really makes people lose their sense of direction."

"Brother Yang, you're too kind! I'm more than happy to be of help. This way, please!"

Hearing that Su Yang was going to the student dormitory, Lin Fan was overjoyed and quickly led the way.

Su Yang smiled inwardly, realizing that he had successfully hooked up with this second protagonist.

All the effort he put in was truly worthwhile.

So, with Lin Fan leading the way, Su Yang managed to get his dormitory key relatively smoothly.

The reason it's considered "still acceptable" is because the protagonist lives up to his role as the protagonist.

Even though he had a clear understanding of the protagonist along the way, Su Yang was still quite surprised when he saw someone jumping out from time to time to bully Lin Fan!

While it's not quite a case of "a spoon every three steps, a guard every five steps," can you believe that you could encounter spoiled brats who want to bully Lin Fan or covet his sister just by turning a corner?

Even when they finally arrived at the dormitory, the dormitory supervisor still looked down on them and habitually made things difficult for them. Not to mention Lin Fan, the protagonist, even Su Yang felt his anger rising.

He couldn't help but regret it. Why did he have to be so foolish as to let the protagonist lead the way? Perhaps he could have gotten the key by himself long ago.

In the end, I was just feeling mentally exhausted.

Su Yang then directly informed the other party that his master was the Carefree King, thus ending this melodramatic situation.

Upon opening the door, perhaps because I was telling them there was someone behind me, the interior of the room that appeared before me was decorated in an unusually lavish manner.

"Brother Yang! Why is the dormitory room I arranged for you so big? So nicely decorated! It even has a balcony! And you can even see the lake! Is this for students? Did the dormitory manager give you the wrong key?!"
