Chapter 368 Winter Has Arrived

A young man in a dark red robe sneered, and the long sword at his waist flashed out in an instant, turning into a streak of light, beheading the direct descendant of the Weeks family. The head flew high into the air, and the stiff face still retained the expression of fear, confusion, and terror.

"You...you shameless bandits!"

A blood-stained head rolled to the old knight's feet. He was filled with grief and indignation. It was his own grandson, whom he had watched grow up, yet he had been mercilessly killed like a weed.

"You all must die! You must pay the price!"

"Sacrifice! My great lord! I am willing to offer my soul as a sacrifice to help me annihilate the enemy before me!"

"I am favored by my Lord and blessed by God!"

The old knight's eyes were bloodshot. In a low voice, he grabbed his grandson's head with one hand, and six petal-like tongues shot out from his mouth, which he swallowed whole.

Instantly, his eyes turned dark, his cross-shaped pupils gleamed with an eerie light, his fatal wounds healed rapidly, the armor on his back exploded, and a tentacle as thick as a snake shot out, shooting towards the enemy at a speed exceeding that of a bullet!

"Heh, you call us robbers? Then what about the demon altar hidden underground, the bones scattered all over the ground, the mottled bloodstains? As the leader of a race, what explanation do you have?"

The young swordsman sneered, and several flashes of light burst from the tip of his sword, accurately striking the tentacle and tearing apart large chunks of flesh!

In the next instant, he seemed to transcend space and appeared behind the old knight, assuming a sword-drawing stance. The sharp blade even cut through the air, creating a sharp whistling sound!

call out!

A flash of sword light, and blood splattered!

Thus, the Weeks family, one of the contingency plans laid by the Gluttony God in an attempt to stage a comeback, was completely annihilated.

"The demon god's lackeys are nothing special either."

The swordsman flicked the blood off his sword, listened to the continuous bombardment, and murmured something amidst the swirling air currents.

The next moment, artillery fire engulfed his figure, blasting out a large number of buried skeletons from the ground.

Camps outside the city.

A dark red figure flashed out, and everyone present nodded, then turned their gaze to an old man in the main seat.

“A trace of the demon race still remains. Lord Bren has received a divine decree from our lord that there will be results within a day.”

"That's right. Lord Bren is a priest who is about to break through to the bishop rank, and he also has a Soul Crystal. Exploring the traces on the River of Time will be no problem for him. Everyone just needs to wait for news."

Those present discussed it privately, and even the swordsman who had killed his powerful enemy with a single blow wore a serious expression.

"puff!"

Suddenly, the old priest trembled and spat out a mouthful of blood, his eyes filled with blood and his fingers trembling.

In an instant, everyone present rushed forward, unleashing healing skills upon the old priest.

"Sir, is there any clue?"

The swordsman helped the old priest to his feet and, taking advantage of the priest's still somewhat conscious state, hurriedly asked him a question.

The powerful figures around also gathered around. They weren't concerned about the old priest's life, but rather about his ability to travel back in time and investigate clues about the demon race.

The old priest opened his eyes, bloodshot and trembling. His fingers seemed to be pointing at the crowd, and he uttered a single word:

"dog!"

Everyone: "???"
