Chapter 472 The Attack of the Minotaur

"The wind is so strong."

The girl brushed the strands of hair from her forehead, grabbed the loose black silk ribbon with her small hand, and retied her wildly dancing purple hair into a dashing single ponytail.

She wore a tight-fitting leather suit that perfectly accentuated her breathtakingly powerful figure.

However, despite her exquisite features, she was as cold as ice, exuding a chilling aura that kept people at a distance, and possessed a domineering presence like a thunderbolt, making people afraid to look directly at her.

"Miscalculation."

She murmured something, and with a slight lift of her small hand, a silver arc of electricity quickly condensed and extended in her hand, forming a metal longbow taller than a person.

Raising his right hand again, a raven feather, wrapped with an electric arc, rested on the bowstring and rapidly stretched to form a long arrow.

The arrowhead ignited with a cluster of lightning flames, containing the light of destruction.

Sizzle!

The bow is drawn and the arrow is bent, the string as full as a moon.

The girl gazed into the distance, a ripple appearing in her pinkish-purple crystal pupils. A slight upturn at the corners of her lips revealed a cold smile on her exquisite face.

The small hand that had been drawing the bow gently released its grip.

laugh!

The arrow streaked across the sky like a rainbow, landing precisely in the distant forest.

boom--

In the distance, a crimson flame suddenly exploded, instantly turning into a fireball. Along with the surging herd of beasts, everything exploded completely, leaving only blood, flesh, and debris flying everywhere.

The girl sheathed her longbow, glanced indifferently at the group of examinees below who looked like ants, and urged the crows to fly away into the distance.

Qin Shuai stared blankly at the crows flying away.

Amidst the rolling sands and boundless desert, that graceful figure and the brilliance of that arrow left everyone in awe.

The regimental commander, gazing at the mushroom cloud rising a considerable distance behind him, felt a lump in his throat and broke out in a cold sweat.

evildoer!

That girl who wields thunder must be a prodigy!

Elite candidates, often outnumbered by ordinary test-takers, are frequently appointed as leaders of their respective groups.

However, those at the monstrous level cannot be judged by common sense. They possess ferocious combat power and can easily take on bosses one-on-one. They serve as commanders of an army.

"Wow, what a beautiful girl..."

"I wonder if she has a boyfriend..."

"Haha, you? I'm not exaggerating, even if you and a pig had a child, it would be better looking than you."

"This destructive power...it's at the level of high-level magic, isn't it?"

"My mom always said that the prettier a woman is, the more dangerous she is, and she was right."

The crowd came to their senses, somewhat dazed.

Qin Shuai stared blankly at the power of that arrow, and inexplicably shivered.

Could the person cosplaying the man in the black robe be the one who stole the steamed bun from him...?

Strong + Cold + Domineering = Queen.

Silently labeling the woman in the black robe, Qin Shuai decided to disguise himself by wearing the black robe.

If you're afraid of him, then become him!

"die!"

As everyone packed their supplies and prepared to embark on their journey, a sound like a volcanic eruption swept up yellow sand and hurtled towards them.

"Aaaaaah, I'm going to chop that crow to pieces and roast it like chicken wings on a fire!!"

The great forest was swept away by a long axe, and the rising mushroom cloud along with large sections of tree trunks was torn to pieces!

The next moment, a giant minotaur, dragging a large axe, stared wide-eyed, with bloodshot veins as thick as vines filling his entire eyeballs.

"Oh dear~ I'm so sorry, I always forget my lines at crucial moments~"

On the minotaur's shoulder sat the goat-man, legs crossed, holding a book and dancing on flames, saying regretfully.

"Third brother, this is your fault. Tonight, offer some of your men to make a few servings of roasted mutton for your elder brother as compensation. If the brothers are satisfied, this matter will be over."

A werewolf riding the wind, its scarlet tongue licking its lips, reminiscing about the taste of roasted lamb.

"My pot? You still want roast lamb?"

Upon hearing this, the goat-man's refined face showed a hint of annoyance: "What's the point of your wind magic? It weakened my Hellfire by more than half! You bastard!"

"If you're so good at shifting blame, why don't you switch careers and become a chef?"

"Tsk, the first thing I'd chop up when I became a chef is this roasted goat! You're useless at everything, but you talk a lot of nonsense. You think you're some kind of reading goat just because you're holding a book? How many words do you even know to be so arrogant!"

The werewolf angrily retorted, spitting his saliva, which he had been drooling over, all over the goat-man's face.

"Heh, I saw through your wolfish ambitions long ago. It wasn't enough that you occupied the Green Grassland; you secretly slaughtered a few sheep. Did you really think I didn't know?!"

The goat-man's face suddenly turned cold. He turned to a page in the book, where lava was flowing and demons were wailing eternally, as if summoning the fires of hell to reappear in the world!

The werewolf was also murderous, with a sharp claw behind him that could launch a foot-long blade. The blade was thin and had a faint glow, ready to pierce through the chest of its opponent, rip out the heart, and eat it while it was hot!

"Enough!"

A thunderclap boomed, startling the goat and the werewolf, who withdrew their killing moves.

As the eldest brother, the Tauren, freed from battlefield constraints, has seen his combat power rise infinitely, currently reaching a peak level capable of contending with that mindless and arrogant dragon.

"Don't forget why we formed this alliance in the first place."

The minotaur gripped his heavy axe tightly, his bull-like eyes blazing with blood-red flames, carrying with them endless fury.

"They went to the next few golden palaces, where our enemies, whom we've attacked countless times, reside!"

The minotaur said coldly, and with a swing of his axe, a round of air blades appeared, tearing through the air and swirling for hundreds of meters, aiming at the distant desert!

"To dare force me to kneel and respectfully offer up the seal of the ox is the greatest humiliation in my ox life!"

"What's most hateful is that even though they clearly have the stamps to prove they can get to the next level, they still use me as a tool, raiding in every now and then after the refresh period to farm all sorts of materials!"

"This disgrace should be washed away with their blood!"

The minotaur took a step and stepped out of the forest, its huge, pillar-like hooves crushing the sand beneath its feet.

Then, on this open and boundless desert, he moved faster and faster, and finally, dragging his axe, he started running!

"Lying down..."

Qin Shuai glanced at the charging minotaur, his expression turning somewhat grim.

Not only him, but everyone around him turned and ran away. Qin Shuai, who reacted immediately, took away the man-eating flower, lightened his load, and ran in the middle to upper reaches of the pack.

"The desert is practically a battlefield for the minotaurs!"

Beside her, Can Yan exclaimed in surprise, her elegant blue hair fluttering, but her posture was quite disheveled.

"Squeak~"

The Gold-Eating Rat seconded the agreement; its gray fur shimmered with golden light, each glint appearing almost as if it were a flash.

The group fled in disarray, attempting to escape the clutches of the minotaur.

But every time the Gold-Eating Rat returned with a flash of golden light, it would bring back something good and give it to... its father?

Witnessing this scene firsthand filled Can Yan with envy, as if she were eating a lemon, feeling incredibly sour.

Anything that falls could end up buried in the desert, but the Gold-Eating Rat's treasure-hunting skills, combined with its agile mobility, make treasure hunting a breeze.
