In June, there is no sound of insects chirping or wind.
The entire villa was completely dark, as if one had entered another dimension, isolated from all outside world.
No one answered the door when I knocked.
Qin Tan went around to the back, opened the window, and jumped into the house.
The villa is very large, with the living room located at the top of the building.
In the hazy darkness, the various pieces of furniture resembled lurking monsters, and the entire house was deathly quiet.
"pear."
She called out, but there was no answer.
Locate the switch and press it.
The lights flickered on, dispelling the darkness and allowing Qin Tan to see what was happening inside the room.
There were leftovers on a table not far away.
Upon closer inspection, one can see that the dishes on the plates are rotten and foul-smelling, with bluish mold spreading and white worms wriggling inside.
The odor was noticeable in the air.
Qin Tan raised her eyebrows in surprise.
The two wouldn't let the garbage rot and stink on the table. Besides, according to Li Qian's arrangement, the food on the table should be tonight's dinner.
How could it have decomposed to this extent in just a few hours?
Or perhaps they moved to a different place without telling me.
Qin Tan thought to herself, looking around.
She was sure no one was on the first floor. As she was thinking, she noticed something under the sofa out of the corner of her eye.
It's a cell phone, Li Qian's cell phone.
The password remained unchanged, and upon opening the chat window, I saw her chat page.
Li Qian is here, at least the other party is here when the message is sent.
Qin Tan's expression remained unchanged, his golden eyes coldly scanning his surroundings, his gaze sharp as a blade that could pierce through everything.
After searching around, the second floor... was also deserted.
The whole house, you know there's a problem, but you can't find the problem.
She has been here several times.
But this time, there was an awkward feeling everywhere.
"Meow!"
The princess cried out and jumped onto a table.
There was a vase on top, filled with dried red roses, which were the flowers that Li Qian hated the most.
Next to it, there was a wedding photo from the wedding ceremony.
In the photo, guests are applauding enthusiastically, and the newlyweds are smiling brightly as they face each other.
Qin Tan glanced at it, and as she turned around, a flash of inspiration struck her.
The two haven't officially gotten married yet, so where did these wedding photos come from?
An idea popped into her head, and she strode over to the table.
After she had fully examined the photo, her golden eyes gleamed with a cold light.
The bride in the photo looks like Li Qian.
The bride, Li Qian, seemed to have spotted Qin Tan outside; beneath that smiling face lay fear and despair.
She gazed silently at Qin Tan, tears welling in her beautiful almond-shaped eyes, as if she wanted to say something but hesitated.
Are the photos alive?
Or perhaps... Li Qian was hidden in this photograph.
Qin Tan didn't hear the babbling that accompanied the strange occurrence, so was it an out-of-control taboo that did this?
"I'll get you out."
Qin Tan guessed what was going on in her mind, then slammed her hand down hard on the photo frame.
After the glass collided with the fist, the fragile glass turned into a curtain of water, and the resulting ripples easily neutralized Qin Tan's power.
And it was after that moment that the photo began to change.
The scene is coming to life.
The priest standing beside the two men was shouting something, and the expressions on the faces of the guests below became fanatical and ferocious.
A moist sensation came from Qin Tan's fingertips.
Qin Tan let go and saw a red stain spreading on her fingertip.
It is human blood.
Blood seeped from the edges of the photo, the crimson color gradually encroaching on the image within the frame.
The stench of blood filled the air, and Qin Tan stared intently at it.
At that moment, the groom inside moved.
In the blink of an eye, the groom's white suit turned red, with only his black tie standing out.
That face did not belong to Gu Tingchen.
Qin Tan then noticed that the groom's suit had a style reminiscent of the old century.
It's very old.
The blood flowing down his suit gathered at his feet.
The groom is holding a ring and is offering it to the bride's ring finger.
An exaggerated smile appeared on his face, his lips turned up high, and his bloodthirsty face was twisted and grotesque.
He twisted his head, staring fiercely at Qin Tan, his attitude both boastful and provocative.
The overwhelming malice made everyone's expression solemn.
The moment the ring touched Li Qian's hand, a corner of her snow-white wedding dress was stained with a faint crimson.
Li Xian is being contaminated.
In the photo, tears streamed down Li Qian's cheeks, and her eyes were filled with pain.
She looked at Qin Tan, as if silently telling a story.
"Quickly...go."
Qin Tan read the other person's lips.
My heart skipped a beat, and I felt a burning heat.
Qin Tan shook her head, her eyes filled with unwavering resolve.
"Don't worry, I will save you."
The promise was lost in silence.
Qin Tan's eyes sparkled with brilliant golden light, her golden pupils shining like the sun.
Extraordinary power surged into his palm to fight against the photograph.
She stretched out her finger and probed it little by little into the photo.
The glass barrier was hindering Qin Tan's movements, but it also proved that Qin Tan's choice was correct.
Breaking this glass will allow us to rescue Li Qian.
Tick-tock, tick-tock.
The sound, like water falling, was so clear in this huge villa.
The dampness, accompanied by the scent of blood, makes one feel as if they are in a sea of blood.
Qin Tan's pupils contracted sharply, and he looked up at the roof.
In her field of vision, large amounts of blood began to seep from the once white roof.
The winding lines of blood raged across the wall, the white and red contrasting against each other, tearing the space apart.
The house was shaking, and thick veins squeezed out from the crimson waterfall, like snakes clinging to the walls.
