Qin Tan considered whether to call for help, but then she thought of the burly man who had just passed by without noticing her, and gave up the idea.
It seems that only I have seen this monster.
Just as the monster was halfway up the streetlight, Qin Tan moved and landed on a vehicle next to the streetlight.
Weighing just over 100 pounds, it made no sound at all, leaving only two footprints on the roof; it was incredibly light.
Qin Tan tumbled off the vehicle, then twisted her body sharply to dodge the incoming eyeball-shaped projectile.
Perhaps because of her escape, the monster became more violent, and even its movements became more agile.
Qin Tan sped up to the maximum speed, and the wind was howling.
Something brushed against my waist, causing a sharp pain.
Qin Tan lowered her head and gasped.
A wound appeared on her left waist, the bloody flesh piercing her skin and sending waves of pain through her. Qin Tan gritted her teeth and endured the pain.
Behind her, blood was gushing from the monster's eyeballs, and the resentment within them was almost tangible.
The chunk of flesh trembled, and sticky tentacles split off from beneath the monster, rising to support its body.
The tentacles attacked with incredible speed, moving silently.
Get out of the way!
Qin Tan twisted her body sharply and luckily dodged.
The tentacle that failed to complete its hunt paused in mid-air for only a second before lashing out at Qin Tan again.
That's incredibly fast!
Qin Tan still wanted to hide.
She tried to jump onto the lamppost again, but she was caught in mid-air by the tentacle. At the same time, she saw that the tentacles had sharp, short fangs.
Its sharp teeth bit into her skin, tearing it apart violently, separating flesh and blood.
Qin Tan was thrown up hard, and then his back collided with the vehicle.
The noise startled the proprietress of the tobacco and liquor shop, a middle-aged woman. She came out and saw Qin Tan take off on his own and crash into a car again.
The car windows were shattered and the doors were dented.
"ah!"
A scream rang out, and the proprietress couldn't understand what was happening.
Her shattered worldview made her instinctively scream.
Qin Tan had no time to deal with the landlady's fear. She groaned, her fingers trembling as she picked up the shards of glass from the ground and plunged them fiercely into the tentacles.
Even when the shards cut her palm first, she didn't let go; instead, she gripped even tighter.
Fortunately, the tentacles can feel pain.
In pain, it released Qin Tan. Without hesitation, Qin Tan got up and ran away into the distance.
There weren't many people on the street, but there were quite a few vehicles.
Qin Tan weaved through the vehicles, using them as a shield, clutching her wounds, and narrowly dodging several attacks from the tentacles.
Her speed was beyond that of ordinary people, but it was still not enough in the eyes of the monster.
Beside her, the cat was also running around, tilting its head and staring at Qin Tan, as if it was thinking about something.
Golden pupils, with a human-like contemplation and profundity.
"I don't care who you are, and I don't care what price I have to pay, help me, now!"
Qin Tan's broken voice carried a resolute ruthlessness.
The cat understood, meowed again, and jumped into Qin Tan's arms.
A faint golden hue began to appear in Qin Tan's eyes, like the pupils of a cat, bright and dazzling.
But in the next second, the gold faded, and the cat looked behind Qin Tan.
A breeze is blowing.
It is gentle.
Before the tentacles attacked Qin Tan, Qin Tan was enveloped by something invisible and moved to a safe location.
Several people appeared over there, and one of them, a handsome man, smiled and waved at her.
Several people, all wearing the same long black trench coats, strolled over as if they were taking a leisurely walk.
There were five people in total. Several of them had their eyes on the monster, and one woman walked towards Qin Tan.
"Don't worry, the pain will go away soon."
The woman smiled shyly at Qin Tan, and a burst of white light fell from her hand onto Qin Tan.
Then she discovered that all the pain in her body was disappearing.
The gruesome wound on his waist healed rapidly, leaving no trace.
Qin Tan's mind went blank for a moment. She looked at the other person in shock, only to see that the other person shyly avoided her gaze.
Everything felt like a dream; nothing had happened.
But Qin Tan knew this was not a dream.
The torn clothes tell the truth of this world.
What exactly is this ability?
What happened?
Countless questions filled her mind, and she seemed to see an unknown and dangerous door suddenly opened in front of her.
"Don't worry, you'll forget about these things soon."
This reassuring remark did not put Qin Tan at ease.
forget?
How can she forget these terrifying experiences?
She hugged the cat tightly, and even though Qin Tan tightened her arms, the cat didn't struggle.
Her gaze was fixed ahead.
There, the young man casually raised his hand, and the natural wind gathered around him, condensing into countless wind blades that sliced towards the mountain of flesh.
The monster that forced Qin Tan to flee for his life was treated like a plaything in the young man's hands.
In just one round, the tentacles were severed.
The monster's eyes were dripping blood as it stared at the youth with resentment, but the youth didn't care and even waved with a smile.
The wind is raging.
In the blink of an eye, the monster was reduced to pieces on the ground, its foul-smelling blood flowing freely, emitting a thick, pungent stench.
An eyeball rolled to the young man's feet, where it was stomped on and burst open.
The bloody mess and the stench of blood in the air were stimulating Qin Tan's senses.
"I've told you so many times, don't be so violent, it's hard for me to handle."
Another girl spoke up.
Although she was wearing a trench coat, she was dressed very scantily underneath, and had a very hot figure.
She rolled her eyes at the young man and snapped her fingers.
