Chapter 3 Golden Eyes



A transparent barrier materialized from all directions, compressing the mess on the ground before disappearing in the blink of an eye.

The streets have been cleaned up again.

Qin Tan saw the girl walk towards the proprietress, holding a black instrument that resembled a pistol in her hand.

"Hey, what are you doing?"

The proprietress didn't see the monster, but she did see Qin Tan inexplicably take off.

The association was enough for her to realize that something was wrong, so she was very afraid of girls getting close.

She was afraid and backed away from the shop, wanting to close it.

But the girl blocked the door with just one arm.

The proprietress, who weighs at least 150 pounds, couldn't close the door no matter how hard she tried.

She could only watch helplessly as the "gun" was pressed against her forehead.

"No, no, I didn't see anything."

"Don't kill me!"

The proprietress murmured, her legs went weak, and she collapsed to the ground, her eyes filled with fear of death.

"You really didn't see anything."

The girl smiled and pulled the trigger.

Silence fell over the scene.

Qin Tan's current eyesight was enough to detect the confusion that had appeared in the landlady's eyes, which were originally filled with fear and despair.

She stood up, ignoring what had happened before and disregarding the girl's presence, and went back inside to continue watching TV.

The palace drama is reaching its climax, and the proprietress is cracking sunflower seeds.

"Alright, it's your turn."

Qin Tan heard the gentle voice of the shy girl beside her.

"Don't be afraid, it won't hurt. It will help you forget these bad things."

It was like a comforting gesture.
