Every time someone raises their hand, someone falls. The angels' fighting prowess made Qin Tan realize why Tianchi wanted to research those robots.
The existence of angels surpasses that of many extraordinary individuals, reaching the S-level.
No, even ordinary S-class superhumans are not necessarily a match for angels.
No one can touch her.
She was like a fish, swimming in the ocean surrounding her, and cries of agony rose wherever she went.
What's even more unimaginable is that every move an angel makes is incredibly precise. Unlike humans, she doesn't consider various situations. Anyone she deems an enemy has only one path: destruction.
One fatal blow.
This was a killing spree.
Qin Tan's gaze gradually shifted from the angel to the sky.
She smelled a fishy odor.
It's very heavy.
Something has awakened.
She gripped the scythe of death tightly and looked toward the passage where the butterfly queens slept. As she gazed upon them, a fat, fleshy worm poked its head out.
That's the state the butterfly is in when it transforms into a cocoon.
They were awakened, yet retained this worm-like form.
Pat, pat.
This is the sound made when the worm jumps down and hits the ground.
At such a great distance, the force was neutralized by that body of fat.
Perched atop its head, two large, dark eyes with no whites locked onto Qin Tan, creating a sense of dread.
And this is Qin Tan's opponent.
"You have less than forty minutes left. You need to deal with them before they emerge as butterflies, otherwise they will awaken all the insect eggs in the cave."
In their worm-like state, they can only be considered half a queen butterfly, lacking the ability to hatch.
Qin Tan knew how many of those insect eggs were down there, and once they hatched, they might be worn down and die here.
The appointed time for Tianchi is not far off.
Qin Tan nodded, picked up his sickle, and walked step by step toward the flesh worms.
Despite their plump appearance, these worms possess a high level of defensive capabilities due to the fat on their outer layer, especially during their cocooned state.
And it relieves a lot of pressure.
After the first cut, Qin Tan clearly felt that his strength was dispersed by the fat to various parts of the flesh worm's body.
The damage caused by a single point of attack is very low.
If it were an angel, she would have a hard time breaking through her defenses.
Fortunately, this was not difficult for Qin Tan.
"Time to get to work!"
Qin Tan's eyes turned completely golden at that moment.
Beneath his dazzling golden eyes, Qin Tan saw the bodies of these fleshy worms transformed into chaotic lines, all of which originated from the same source.
That's the worm's weak point, located slightly behind its head.
After finding the opponent's weakness, Qin Tan focused his attack on that position.
With perfect resonance in her hands, the black scythe made it even easier to cut through the fat.
"Black Crow".
She thought to herself, the tattoo below her collarbone was heating up, and the black crow was responding to Qin Tan.
A series of bright red curse runes appeared on Qin Tan's body, then traveled along Qin Tan's hand on the Grim Reaper's Scythe.
With the power of the curse, dealing with these flesh worms is a piece of cake.
Once you are wounded by the Grim Reaper's Scythe, the power of the curse will seep in. Qin Tan had long ago discovered that her curse had a kind of restraint on these strange things.
The blood vessels on the worm's body, which should have healed quickly, trembled, yet the wound could not be held together.
The power of the curse drilled even deeper.
In Qin Tan's vision, those lines began to be stained with the colors of a curse.
Red, so red it's almost black.
Evil and sinister.
But Qin Tan liked it very much.
With a single slash aimed at the vital spot of a fleshy worm, Qin Tan exerted force with his arm, and the curved blade of the black sickle scraped out a lump of flesh.
The tumor was the size of a fist, covered with a dense network of bulging blood vessels.
That thing was very active and did not die immediately after leaving the flesh worm's body.
Qin Tan threw it into the air and used the Reaper's Scythe to cut it to pieces, thus completely extinguishing its vitality.
"Qin Tan, they've made their move at Tianchi."
The angel's voice drifted from afar, and Qin Tan quickened her pace upon hearing it.
Once she found her weakness, these giant insects were no match for her.
That enormous body was continuously sliced into pieces by her black scythe, and the scattered chunks of flesh made some of the terrified researchers reveal a glint of longing.
There are hardly any normal people here.
Qin Tan noticed that someone was daring; he carefully used an instrument to collect half of the tumor and then turned to leave.
He had only taken a few steps when a blood crow landed on his shoulder, its red eyes fixed on him.
The power of the curse instantly stripped that person of their life.
Qin Tan showed no pity for these people.
She harvested quickly; carrying a black scythe, she was the embodiment of death.
Amidst the blood-stained ground, the sirens blared incessantly.
Qin Tan noticed that some of the test subjects in the laboratories seemed to have been stimulated and were distorted again.
Some swelled into unrecognizable monsters, while others were blasted into mincemeat.
Those who survived began storming the laboratory.
As Qin Tan passed by, he casually took a knife and smashed the glass, releasing the test subjects.
After gaining their freedom, the test subjects rushed into the crowd and began massacring the researchers.
Everything is completely out of control.
The screams continued incessantly.
Qin Tan stepped over the blood-soaked ground and killed the last flesh worm.
Meanwhile, things were coming to an end for the angels as well.
When the few surviving superhumans saw Qin Tan slowly approaching, they retreated as if they had seen a ghost.
They couldn't understand how a woman could so easily get rid of those worms.
