Su Miaomiao needed to go back to school because of her graduation thesis, so Xie Wei, who was free, naturally took on the job of picking her up and dropping her off.
"Does Miaomiao want to go see a movie and play an escape room game?" Xie Wei asked.
While I was waiting at the school gate, a group of people came in from the school gate. When they passed Xie Wei, I heard them discussing escape rooms. Apparently, it was linked to a horror movie and had a lot of traffic, attracting a large number of customers to play.
Xie Wei found it quite interesting, so he went up and asked for the address.
"Teacher Xie, you know about that really popular collaboration lately? Go for it! My roommate said it's really interesting," Su Miaomiao said excitedly.
Although Su Miaomiao has a somewhat aloof appearance, she is actually a lively and active person, so she would definitely be very interested in this kind of thing.
"I was really interested before, and I was planning to take you today, but I didn't expect you to bring it up first."
"Teacher Xie, would you say we're on the same wavelength?"

Xie Wei's style is laid-back: a dark forest-colored short-sleeved T-shirt, a decorative necklace, a black shirt jacket, American retro black casual pants, and a pair of sneakers.
The two are dressed in matching outfits.
On the way there, Xie Wei noticed Su Miaomiao's excited expression. Her single ponytail swayed back and forth, which was very cute. He wondered if she would be the same if she had double ponytails.
The address Xie Wei found out was inside a large shopping mall near Imperial University, less than a fifteen-minute drive away.
According to Su Miaomiao's roommate, watching a movie first would enhance the experience of playing an escape room game.
The movie theater is on the fourth floor of the mall, and the escape room is right across from it. There are even advertisements for it at the entrance, so you can go play the escape room right after watching the movie.
Xie Wei bought a couple's seat for the next movie showing. Since they still had a few minutes to wait before the ticket check, the two of them sat down in the rest area for customers in the movie theater.
The movie theater was about to start, and Xie Wei and Su Miaomiao could hear screams from other screening rooms from the corridor. Despite the soundproofing measures, they could still hear them.
It goes without saying.
Su Miaomiao unconsciously tightened her grip on Xie Wei's hand.
"Is Miaomiao scared?" Xie Wei said in a very low voice.
"Who...who's afraid?" Su Miaomiao said stubbornly. "I'm a cultivator with the Primordial Realm, why would I be afraid of something so ethereal?"
"Are you scared, Teacher Xie?"
"It's alright, I'll protect you," Su Miaomiao patted her broad chest and assured her.
"Okay, then I'll rely on Miaomiao to protect me." Xie Wei pretended to be scared and shrank closer to Su Miaomiao.
Soon, the movie began.
The film tells the story of a group of college students who, after completing their rural teaching assignments as part of a "Three Visits to the Countryside" program, return to school and subsequently die mysteriously one after another.
Following the usual pattern, in order to avoid promoting the idea of ghosts and gods, all of this must eventually be attributed to human intervention.
The process was tense and exciting.
The story itself wasn't particularly scary, but with the addition of horror legends, school bullying, and foggy weather, along with the effects of lighting, camera work, and scene transitions, the audience in the theater did indeed scream repeatedly.
Su Miaomiao didn't know when she sat sideways on Xie Wei's lap. While watching, she would cover her eyes with her hand from time to time, leaving only a small gap to look. But when she saw something scary, she would start screaming and shrink into Xie Wei's arms.
He's bad at games but loves to play.
Sometimes, as if she was thinking of Xie Wei and was afraid, she would generously use her other hand to shield Xie Wei.
As she reached out, someone suddenly screamed, and she immediately withdrew her hand and began to lean against Xie Wei.
Xie Wei wasn't afraid of these things, and throughout the movie, he didn't really remember much of the plot, only that he was constantly comforting his frightened child.
The little girl kept hiding in his arms, not knowing what she was hiding from. Xie Wei could clearly smell her pleasant scent and feel how soft her body was.
He finally understood why so many guys like to take their girlfriends to see horror movies.
After watching the movie, it's time to play an escape room game.
Xie Wei glanced at it online and found that the theme of this escape room was the village in the movie, except that this was a story from ten years ago.
The billboard also indicated that it was a single-player mission, featuring real-life NPCs and a slightly scary theme.
"Miaomiao, maybe we should forget about it?" Xie Wei glanced at Su Miaomiao worriedly as he looked at the words "real-person NPC".
"Teacher Xie, what's wrong?" Su Miaomiao's tear tracks from watching the movie were still wet. "It's nothing, don't be scared, it's just a mild fear. I'll protect you."
