Xie Wei exhaled a cloud of smoke, staring intently at Black Rose, demanding an explanation from her.
The two looked at each other for a moment, then both smiled.
"This cigarette is good, but it's not advisable to smoke too much," Black Rose kindly reminded her.
"Just like in the south, this is indeed a good place, but it's not suitable for doing business right now."
Xie Wei scoffed, "Miss Rose, aren't you being a bit nosy?"
"Third Young Master, has anyone told you this?" Black Rose suddenly approached, bending down to lean against Xie Wei, but stopped just before they were about to touch.
He hooked Xie Wei's chin with his hand and said slowly, "If you smoke the cigarettes your sister gave you, you're one of hers."
"Since he's one of my people, do you think I should interfere?"
Xie Wei was no longer an innocent boy, and he could clearly hear the flirtatious tone in the other person's words.
He slapped away the other person's hand that was hooking his chin, exhaled the smoke from his mouth, took another step forward to bring their breaths closer together, then pinched her chin, the smell of tobacco spreading across her face as he spoke.
Xie Wei originally intended to blow the white smoke directly into her face, but he restrained himself.
"I advise you not to provoke me." After saying that, Xie Wei let go of his hand, took a few steps back, and created some distance.
He tossed the pack of cigarettes into her arms, and Black Rose opened the cigarette case.
There were twenty cigarettes in total, but only eighteen were in the pack, two were missing. Apart from the one that had just been taken out, Xie Wei only smoked one.
This proof seems to mock Black Rose for meddling and being presumptuous.
Black Rose wasn't annoyed. She turned around and went back to her seat, where she sat down.
"Someone asked me to take better care of you," Black Rose said calmly, her expression no longer teasing as before, seemingly speaking the truth.
Upon hearing this, Xie Wei frowned and still asked, "Who?"
Black Rose lit a cigarette, her tone gentle as she looked at Xie Wei, "She told me not to tell you, but you will meet when the time comes."
Xie Wei frowned even more, but didn't ask any more questions.
