Inside the villa, Zhao Yujin was leaning on Xie Wei's shoulder, silently calling Xie Wei's name, her voice a little hoarse.
"Hmm?" Xie Wei responded.
"Do you think I'm just like Old Master Zhao?" Zhao Yujin's eyes dimmed as he murmured to himself, "The same ruthlessness and indifference..." He seemed to see a shadow of that dignified old man in himself, and felt a sharp pain in his heart.
Xie Wei bent down slightly, lowering his body so that Zhao Yujin could lean against him more comfortably. He knew very well that Zhao Yujin was currently in a state of confusion and needed some warmth and comfort.
So he said softly, "It's different, Sister Jue is really nice."
"Is it really different?" she murmured to herself, her eyes gazing blankly into the distance, as if searching for an answer. He was filled with doubt and confusion, bewildered by everything he had experienced.
"Well, isn't the fact that I'm still by your side the best proof?"
Zhao Yujin's eyes lit up when she heard what Xie Wei said, and she met Xie Wei's approving gaze.
After a long silence, Zhao Yujin spoke again.
"Since you're such a nice older sister, do you have any feelings for her?"
Here we go again, the sentimentality only lasts three seconds.
However, Zhao Yujin seemed to have figured it out; her eyes shone with a sense of determination and relief.
Perhaps after a period of reflection and inner struggle, she finally found the answer or made a decision.
