In mid-January, the temperature in the southern part of the city rose, and the green plants along the roadside began to sprout new buds. Although it was winter, it felt like spring had already arrived.
Despite the howling cold wind, some areas didn't see a single snowflake all winter long.
This winter has been much less fun.
Xie Wei and Zhao Yujin were preparing to leave for Lu Changhe's eighteenth birthday party.
Xie Wei waited downstairs as always for his female companion to arrive that night.

Her hair was tied up with a hairpin, with a few strands of hair left on both sides. She abandoned heavy makeup and only added floral decorations. With light makeup and lip gloss, she looked more intellectual and less charming.
By incorporating modern style into classical elegance, it must be said that Zhao Yujin has always had excellent taste in clothing, and black suits her temperament very well.
Despite having spent so much time together, Xie Wei was still amazed by her.

Xie Wei, not to be outdone, grabbed Zhao Yujin's hand that was teasing him and held it tightly. Then, he slowly moved closer to Zhao Yujin. He gently leaned down, pressed his lips to Zhao Yujin's cheek, and then softly blew a breath into her ear.
The warm and moist scent instantly made Zhao Yujin's body tremble.
Zhao Yujin tried to dodge, but Xie Wei blocked her with his thumb and forefinger, preventing her from moving.
"Yeah, I'm totally smitten with Sister Jue today."
Before Zhao Yujin could even catch what Xie Wei said, her heart pounded wildly. Her cheeks flushed crimson, like a ripe apple, making one want to take a bite.
Her body went limp involuntarily, as if she had lost all her strength, and she could only lean weakly against Xie Wei. This feeling made her both shy and nervous, unsure of how to react. She tried to remain calm, but her heart was beating faster and faster, as if it were about to burst out of her chest.
A thin layer of mist filled her eyes, and the area around her eyes was slightly red, making her look even more charming.
With a "click-click-click" sound, the front partition suddenly and slowly fell down.
"Sorry, I accidentally pressed it," Zheng Qi's explanation came from the front, and he quickly adjusted the screen to raise it again.
Zheng Qi glanced at the scene in the back seat through the rearview mirror and was startled.
Xie Wei's actions and Zhao Yujin's expression made him think of something.
Zheng Qi suddenly realized that he seemed to have ruined his young master's plans. Would he be fired?
Despite being disturbed, Xie Wei seemed completely unaffected. Looking at Zhao Yujin's face, he teased, "Sister Jue's face is very red. Are you shy?"
Undeterred by the teasing, Zhao Yujin instead placed her hands on Xie Wei's shoulders, leaning forward slightly to get even closer to him.
A sly smile played on her lips, her eyes gleaming with teasing light: "I can't help it, I just really like Xiao Xingzhi too much. Aren't you deliberately tempting me to commit a crime by getting so close to me?" As she finished speaking, Zhao Yujin raised an eyebrow slightly, seemingly provoking Xie Wei.
Zhao Yujin closed her eyes and took the opportunity to kiss Xie Wei.
Xie Wei had never been able to handle Zhao Yujin like this. Looking at the slightly red eyes and the slightly watery lips of the person in front of him, he couldn't help but swallow and took back all his previous actions, obediently sitting back in his seat.
The expected cooperation did not materialize, and Zhao Yujin opened her eyes and smiled.
"Why did you stop?"
Xie Wei didn't say anything, but Zhao Yujin noticed that the tips of his ears were slightly red, so she poked his cheek.
