When Xie Wei returned home that evening, he saw Xu Daiwei and Li Ning, who were now able to leave work early because the matter of the beauty cream had been resolved.
"Welcome home..." Li Ning greeted Xie Wei while sitting in front of the TV, holding snacks.
Xie Wei nodded, noticing that Li Ning's breakthrough was going very smoothly, and he was now at the late stage of the Acquired Realm.
Xu Daiwei slowly descended the stairs and saw Xie Wei downstairs. She took three steps at a time, jumped up, and hugged Xie Wei tightly.

"Brother, I want to sleep with you tonight," Xu Daiwei said before Xie Wei could speak. After saying that, her face began to blush as if she had thought of something.

"Xiao Wei, do you know what you're doing?" Xie Wei's voice was not as soft and gentle as usual, but rather terrifyingly low, like a wild beast suppressing something.
Before Xu Daiwei could answer, Xie Wei continued, "Listen to your brother, you deserve better. Your brother has someone in his heart."
Before Xie Wei could finish speaking, Xu Daiwei forcefully kissed him.

Xu Daiwei looked into Xie Wei's eyes and smiled happily. "Worth it" was Xu Daiwei's answer to Xie Wei.
What else is there to say? Xie Wei kissed Xu Daiwei, his hand reaching under the covering to climb the astonishing height and getting to work.

It was quite some time before dawn broke when Xu Daiwei finally woke up. She seemed to still be recovering from the previous night. She looked around in a daze and saw Xie Wei just opening his eyes.
Their eyes met, and Xu Daiwei thought of her crazy behavior last night. She shyly snuggled into Xie Wei's arms, and Xie Wei hugged her back, resting his chin on her head and slowly closing his eyes, thinking of going back to sleep.
When she was still half asleep, Xu Daiwei didn't notice anything, but now that she's slightly awake, she feels something like a necklace around her neck.
Xu Daiwei picked up the necklace that had fallen into the ditch. It was a silver chain with a pinkish-white ring. There were no pretty patterns, only the initials of Xu Daiwei's name in pinyin.
On his way home yesterday, Xie Wei stopped by a jewelry store owned by the Xie family to get a few finished chains to put together with the rings.
