Chapter 47 Su Miaomiao's Monologue

At first, I really disliked Xie Wei as a person, or rather, the name Xie Wei. Grandpa Su kept mentioning arranged marriages and the like, which I really disliked.

When Xie Wei came to teach, I admit that I was initially somewhat hostile towards him. But after Xie Wei said those things to me in the coffee shop, that hostility gradually diminished.

But that guy said he could choose anyone from the Xie family, and he made some inexplicable remarks at the end. It seemed a bit arrogant, so I still didn't have a good impression of Xie Wei.

But she knew Xie Wei was trustworthy, otherwise she wouldn't have called him immediately when she was in danger. Fortunately, he came in the end, even though she cried terribly that time and lost all face in front of Xie Wei.

After that, I felt that Xie Wei was acting strangely. After saving me, I wanted to express my gratitude, but I heard my grandfather say that Xie Wei had left a long time ago. Although he said that he had something urgent to do, I still felt that Xie Wei was avoiding me.

This feeling grew stronger in the following classes taught by Xie Wei.

But when Ye Yan came to class for the first time, Xie Wei didn't avoid him; instead, he struck up a conversation with him. However, the content of the conversation was to ask him to help show this new student around the campus.

At the time, I only thought that Xie Wei trusted me, but when Ye Yan said that the two of us were not familiar with each other, a strange feeling lingered in my heart and did not dissipate for a long time. I left with a random excuse.

When I looked at him for the second time as he walked over, I was still a little happy. But when Ye Yan invited me to lunch, I didn't know what Ye Yan was thinking. However, a gossipy look flashed across Xie Wei's face, and then he turned to leave.

Watching Xie Wei's actions, I felt inexplicably angry. Although Xie Wei ended up having dinner with us, my original intention was to have dinner alone with Xie Wei. Xie Wei also invited Ye Yan, and the thought of that made me angry.

Fortunately, Ye Yan had to leave afterward, and Xie Wei took her home. Being alone with Xie Wei in a private space made her feel both happy and nervous.

What's even stranger is Xie Wei's behavior in class afterwards.

When Ye Yan was around, he would try every means to get Ye Yan to spend time alone with him, or to make Ye Yan perform in front of him and his roommates.

When Ye Yan wasn't around, he never contacted me. It felt like he was deliberately trying to set me up with Ye Yan.

She didn't know where Xie Wei had given her a signal that she liked Ye Yan, but every time Xie Wei did that, she felt particularly wronged.

I know I have some feelings for Xie Wei, which is why I act this way, but I just can't admit how I could like Xie Wei.

I admit that Xie Wei is somewhat handsome, teaches very well, is very approachable, patiently answers students' questions, has a stable temperament, and I sometimes see him feeding the school's cat-loving and dog-loving senior students...

But how could I possibly like someone so arrogant and prone to playing matchmaker? Yet, I couldn't help thinking about Xie Wei.

Finally, one day, Xie Wei was strolling around the school, standing under a tree that had just sprouted tender buds. He looked up at the tree, his whole body bathed in sunlight, and he squinted comfortably.

For some reason, I didn't want to disturb the scenery in front of me, and I was slightly mesmerized.

When Xie Wei came to his senses, he was asking a student for directions. After expressing his gratitude, he hurriedly left.

I went up to ask that person and learned that Xie Wei had gone to the old dormitory area, so I immediately rushed over. Unfortunately, my skill level wasn't as high as Xie Wei's, and I couldn't catch up with him.

When they arrived at the old dormitory, they saw Ye Yan there, fighting with Xie Wei and a man who didn't look like a good person.

I knew that with my abilities I could only be a hindrance, so I hid to the side and secretly observed, intending to go out after they finished.

I don't know why, but I have a strange confidence in Xie Wei. I feel that Xie Wei is the best and will not lose.

As she watched, she felt a pang of heartache upon seeing Xie Wei's injured leg, and a sense of joy as she realized that the initially disadvantaged party had been reversed due to something Xie Wei had done.

However, Xie Wei seemed to be restricted in some way. I could sense that his overall aura was very disordered, and he stood there motionless.

When the man rushed towards Xie Wei with the dagger, Xie Wei seemed to lose all reason and impulsively rushed forward to block Xie Wei's path.

Even knowing they would die, they still went without hesitation.

However, Xie Wei seemed to use some kind of technique in the end, pulling himself into his arms and punching the other person away.

I think I've fallen for Xie Wei, otherwise why would I find that this stinky guy's arms smell so good and so captivating?

Hearing the person's painful cry, she tried to see what was wrong, but Xie Wei forcefully pulled her back into his arms. Her heart started pounding uncontrollably, and she wondered why she was starting to like Xie Wei like this.

It's not a bad thing for me to stay in Xie Wei's arms, so it's normal for me to secretly glance at Xie Wei a couple of times.

Upon seeing him, Xie Wei with his long white hair looked even more handsome, and her heart began to beat faster.

It's a pity I didn't get a good look before Xie Wei pushed me aside, but he returned to normal in a few moments. Xie Wei is quite handsome even when he's not looking too badly.

But Xie Wei's 37-degree mouth was speaking such cold words, and he even scolded me. I felt a little wronged.

But then I heard him softly say thank you. Hmph ╯^╰, I really wanted to tell him that being arrogant is outdated.

Acting cute still works; Xie Wei, as always, sweetly let her tie his coat to prevent any accidental exposure. His hands weren't idle either, steadily supporting his legs.
