Chapter 78 Bai Shiying's Dream, Su Tang's Sleepwalking?

On a scorching summer morning, Bai Shiying woke up in her rented apartment. The apartment was recommended by a friend and senior colleague, and its main selling point was its strong privacy, making it difficult for reporters to take pictures of her.

Wearing a light purple spaghetti strap nightgown, her slender feet touched the floor. She stood up, went to the living room, poured herself a glass of water, but didn't drink it. Instead, she quietly held the glass and stared blankly outside.

I had another dream.

Dreaming is a normal phenomenon, and it's the same for Bai Shiying.

In my dream, someone was calling out "Qianqian"; although I didn't know which two words they were calling, it seemed to be calling my name.

In the dream, I seemed to be surrounded by many children; I also vaguely saw mountains, motorcycles, and sunsets.

In her dream, there was a person, probably at school, standing there seemingly radiating light, but the light was so dazzling that Bai Shiying couldn't see his true face...

Even though it was a dream, Bai Shiying felt as if she had experienced it herself, and the person whose true face she couldn't see in the dream seemed to be especially important to her.

Bai Shiying knew that her memory was indeed incomplete; she only remembered waking up in a hospital abroad and then seeing her parents.

She also asked her parents about her memory, and they only said that she was sick and had been in the hospital since she was a child to get treatment. Although she recovered, she had memory problems.

Bai Shiying herself couldn't verify whether what they said was true or false.

Bai Shiying felt that the dreams she had were like her past memories. The things in the dreams became clearer and clearer each time. She believed that as long as she had these dreams a few more times, she would be able to recall her lost memories.

Bai Shiying has only had this dream twice so far, but that's okay, she already knows what the key to unlocking dreams is.

Bai Shiying had two dreams at night because she saw Xie Wei during the day and had contact with him, so she guessed that Xie Wei was the key.

Although it was just a guess, Bai Shiying had already figured out a way to verify it.

Although she didn't know why Xie Wei became the key, she believed that as long as she had more contact with Xie Wei and remembered everything, everything would become clear.

Thinking of all this, Bai Shiying smiled, finished the water in her cup, then stood up and stretched, the sunlight shining on her good figure.

The perspective shifts to Xie Wei.

When Xie Wei woke up in the morning, he found that he felt particularly heavy, as if something was pressing down on him.

At first, Xie Wei thought it was sleep paralysis, but when he felt the flexibility of his limbs, he realized that only his chest felt particularly heavy.

Xie Wei looked up and saw that, without realizing it, someone was lying on his chest, seemingly having a sweet dream and laughing very happily.

'When did Su Tang sneak into my room? I didn't even notice. Have I been letting my guard down lately?'

The person in his arms was having another dream. Their hands began to slip inside Xie Wei's clothes, touching his waist, then they hugged him, their fingers still caressing his skin.

Xie Wei felt that something bad was about to happen if things continued like this, so he woke Su Tang up.

Su Tang raised her head, her eyes still blurry with sleep, and stared at Xie Wei for a while.

Just as Xie Wei was about to say something, Su Tang's face slowly approached, her lips brushing against Xie Wei's Adam's apple, before she lay back down and closed her eyes.

Xie Weiyi shuddered the moment Su Tang's lips touched his Adam's apple.

Perhaps the movement was too large, because Su Tang was woken up. She rubbed her eyes and her pupils dilated the moment she saw Xie Wei. Then she looked around in confusion.

"Brother Xingzhi, how did I get here?" She seemed to be half asleep, her voice soft and gentle, which Xie Wei found rather cute.

"Why don't you get off your brother first?" Su Tang's fingertips on his waist, the heat transmitted through his skin, Xie Wei felt a little hot, and realized that a certain part of his body had begun to go out of control.

Su Tang nodded, turned over, and lay down next to Xie Wei, watching him.

Xie Wei breathed a sigh of relief, stood up, straightened his clothes, glanced at Su Tang, found no flaws, and sighed.

"The first thing my brother saw when he opened his eyes was you on top of me. I even wanted to ask you why you were in my bed."

Su Tang across from her blinked, seemingly puzzled, then suddenly seemed to remember something.

"Sister Li said I had sleepwalking disorder, and I didn't believe her at first, but now I see it's true."

Sister Li is Su Tang's agent.

"Did I do anything wrong to Xingzhi-gege? Xiaotangguo can take responsibility for Xingzhi-gege."

Xie Wei gave Su Tang a chop to the head, then helplessly rubbed his forehead (′-ι_-`).

"What are you saying all day long, you little girl? Nothing's happened, and Xingzhi-gege doesn't need you to take responsibility."

After a pause, he added, "Remember to see a doctor about the sleepwalking."

After saying that, he walked out of the room.

Su Tang watched Xie Wei's retreating figure, a sly glint in her eyes. When Xie Wei looked over, she pretended to be sleepy.

Xie Wei glanced at it indifferently and walked downstairs.

'Could this girl possibly like me?'

Xie Wei wasn't completely dismissive of what Su Tang said, but he wasn't stupid either. Whether it was Su Tang's words today or her teasing remarks about coming back early last night, Xie Wei couldn't see any hint of a joke in her tone.

Everything she did was an expression of her affection for Xie Wei.

But... why is that? Xie Wei knew he didn't have that much charm; he wasn't a hundred-dollar bill, and besides, he already had someone by his side.

Although Xu Daiwei and the others said they didn't care, Xie Wei understood that no girl didn't want her boyfriend to be devoted to her. They compromised simply because they all loved Xie Wei deeply and didn't want to see him suffer because of them.

Besides, my heart is now with someone else, and it seems a bit unfair to let the girl continue like this.

Xie Wei really wanted to tell the girl about his situation, but the girl hadn't explicitly said she liked him. If Xie Wei misunderstood and realized she really had ulterior motives, wouldn't he just be presumptuous?

Even the usually decisive and ruthless Xie Sanshao was at a loss when faced with this situation.

Su Tang, lying on Xie Wei's bed in the room, buried herself under the covers, somewhat unsatisfiedly enjoying Xie Wei's presence.

"Brother Xingzhi probably already senses it. One more dose of strong medicine and we can proceed to the next step," Su Tang muttered to herself, her eyes narrowed.

While Xie Wei was making breakfast, she saw Su Tang change her clothes and come downstairs, making a phone call, seemingly about security. Xie Wei didn't pay much attention and continued with her work.

As usual, "Brother Xingzhi's cooking is so good; whoever marries Brother Xingzhi will be so lucky."

Xie Wei could no longer tell whether it was a joke or the truth, so he simply ignored it.

Su Tang, who was ignored, was not annoyed and smiled at Xie Wei.

Su Tang was picked up by her agent, and Sister Li said something before she left.

"Oh, right, Mr. Xie, I forgot to tell you, our young lady may have a habit of sleepwalking. Please forgive her for that."

If Xie Wei believed this when it was first said, now it seems like he's trying to cover something up.
