Chapter 9 Chaos

Yanluo concentrated all his energy into his fist and then threw a punch. The blade clashed with the fist's wind, and Xie Wei was defeated, being sent flying dozens of meters away.

Xie Wei couldn't help but sigh, "Is this the difference between myself and those who lick blood from the edge of a knife every day?" He was not discouraged by this, but instead felt even more respect for these people.

Xie Wei pondered for a moment, then made another move. This time, he leaped into the air, turned in mid-air, and rushed towards the shortest city, thrusting his double-edged blades downwards towards the city's neck. Qin Guang still used his throwing knife to stop Xie Wei's actions.

With a flick of his wrist, the blade with the dark green handle flew from his hand, transforming into a streak of light that collided with the throwing knife. Xie Wei primarily practiced swordsmanship and spearmanship; he admitted that he wasn't the type of person who was proficient in all eighteen martial arts when it came to knives.

He had no choice but to grip the other blade with both hands and make a downward slashing motion. Even though he knew that the girl was from the city, he didn't hold back. Since she was standing opposite him, she was an enemy, and Xie Wei would naturally not be merciful to his enemies.

Dushi didn't expect Xie Wei to be able to block Qin Guang's attack. Even though he tried to dodge Xie Wei's attack, he was too careless and dodged too late. As a result, the veil on Dushi's cheek was torn, and the blood inside stained Dushi's veil.

Just as Dushi was about to reveal his face, he quickly pulled up his robe to cover his face again, touched the wound on his cheek, and looked at Xie Wei with angry eyes, as if he wanted to tear him to pieces.

The other three were also surprised that Xie Wei could injure Dushi. Looking at Dushi's wound, they all took a step back and looked at Xie Wei with sympathy.

Xie Wei was still preoccupied with guarding against the others' attacks, and he looked puzzled when they gave him sympathetic looks. Then, the city in front of him suddenly surged with power, forcing Xie Wei back several meters.

Xie Wei was about to push himself up and curse the city for being unruly and unable to play games when a huge fist suddenly appeared in front of him, completely disfiguring Xie Wei's black eye. Then, punches and kicks rained down on him, and Xie Wei had no time to defend himself, leaving him only able to passively take the beating.

Dushi knew that Xie Wei's actions were correct to some extent, so she only used her mid-stage acquired strength to beat him. After an incense stick's time had passed, Chu Jiang stepped forward and pulled Dushi back.

"City, city, that's enough. An incense stick's time has passed; if we keep fighting, it'll make us look like we can't handle this."

They only stopped after hearing about the city, only to see Xie Wei lying on the ground with a bruised and swollen face, feeling like his body wasn't even his own anymore.

Fortunately, Xie Wei cultivated the "Chaos" technique, which allowed his physical body to reach a certain level; otherwise, an ordinary person would probably have collapsed and wouldn't be able to get up.

Xie Wei stood up, dusted himself off, and with one side of his face bruised and the other purple, limped toward the four of them.
