The reward for "Dragon Slayer" fragments remains unchanged: "Dragon Slayer" (3/8) in the system space.
The three fragments, each a reward for changing the heroine's fate, were a coincidence the first time, an accident the second time, and now Xie Wei has figured out the pattern behind the third one.
Is Xie Lan encouraging himself to change the female lead's fate?
Furthermore, the cause and effect that supposedly changed the female lead's fate seems to have yet to occur. Xie Lan seems to consistently avoid any mention of cause and effect, only giving ambiguous answers. Perhaps he has some hidden difficulties.

Important Character's Fate (1/4): Which character will it be? How important will they be? You'll only find out by collecting all four fragments.
The slightly playful explanation left Xie Wei speechless ╮( ??ω?? )╭2.
"Xie Lan, why is this reward so..." Compared to the previous two, this reward seems to be on a completely different level.
"The remaining rewards were given to you a long time ago. Otherwise, do you think your piano skills and cooking skills just fell from the sky?" Xie Lan floated out, wearing a blue and white porcelain cheongsam, her golden white hair held up by a silver hairpin. She sat suspended in the air, her long legs crossed, and she was sipping tea in a teacup that appeared out of nowhere.
The cheongsam and hairpin were gifts from Su Tang, but Xie Lan was still just a spirit and couldn't wear them. So he transformed his clothes into an identical one to show that he hadn't disappointed Su Tang's kindness. The physical items were still kept in the system space.
"And then there's 'Taiyin.' Aside from my own personal motives, as I've mentioned before, your own fate is unpredictable, and the destinies of those around you will be affected to some extent. Little by little, it adds up."
"Hmm," Xie Wei replied calmly, without much surprise on his face. He had already made some guesses about the inexplicable rewards he had received earlier.
"I guessed you must have some doubts, but there are actually many things you can't guess." After saying that, the teacup in his hand disappeared into thin air.
Xie Wei wanted to ask something else.
"You'll find out later," he said, leaving behind this nonsensical statement before running back to the system space.
In the system space, where it was dark and shrouded in mist, a voice that commanded respect resounded, as if everyone would unconditionally submit to it.
"Number 164, repeatedly crossing the line of conduct, hereby warned! If you violate this rule again, I will eliminate you."
"Shut up! I've already said my name is Xie Lan. We are one, so what can you do to me even if I offend you again?" With that, he waved his hand, and a surge of energy poured out, restoring the bright and warm atmosphere of the system space.
The mist dissipated, and the sound ceased. Xie Lan continued sipping his tea as if nothing had happened.
Xie Wei was completely unaware of what was happening in the system space; he was standing at the entrance of the municipal government building.
After tidying up his clothes, he saw his near-perfect face through the glass window, nodded in satisfaction, and strode inside.
Although he hadn't made an appointment, Xie Wei gave his name, believing that Mu Qingcheng would see him.
Xie Wei arrived smoothly at the mayor's office. The mayor seemed to be busy with something. When he saw Xie Wei push open the door and come in, Mu Qingcheng's face showed some joy.
"You...you're back?" The pen in her hand had stopped, and she sat in her office chair, her eyes only on Xie Wei, as if she wanted to say something that she couldn't express in words.
When Xie Wei left, Mu Qingcheng admitted that she missed him, but she couldn't express her longing and joy like Xu Daiwei and Su Miaomiao did; she had her own worries.
The two hadn't spoken much since that night, and Mu Qingcheng didn't even know when Xie Wei had returned.
"Hmm," Xie Wei picked up the empty water glass next to Mu Qingcheng and went to the water dispenser to refill it for her.
"It's good..." Mu Qingcheng said softly, watching Xie Wei's back.
...I'm so glad to see you again.
"How have you been lately?" Xie Wei placed the glass of water on her desk and asked casually, as if it were just a casual remark.
Then he noticed that Mu Qingcheng's gaze became somewhat evasive after hearing the question. He chuckled softly, walked behind Mu Qingcheng, and pinched her neck through her hair.
Don't lie to me, I know everything.
"..." Mu Qingcheng, who was about to say that she was doing well, suddenly fell silent. Then, as if she remembered something, she turned to Xie Wei and said.
"Those people are your men?"
"What do you mean?" Xie Wei pinched Mu Qingcheng's face again, a face he could never get tired of looking at. He felt that she seemed to have lost some weight.
Xie Wei hadn't seen Mu Qingcheng for quite a while, and it would be a lie to say he didn't miss her. He had various ways to get her contact information, but he also knew what she was worried about, so he gave her time.
Mu Qingcheng slapped Xie Wei's teasing hand away.
"I'm not stupid. There's no way I wouldn't have noticed all those strange things happening around me."
When the aristocratic families first made their move, Mu Qingcheng, as the target, must have noticed it. However, the aristocratic families quickly went silent, and Mu Qingcheng assumed that the aristocratic families had mistaken their target and that it was just a coincidence.
But everything that followed was directed at her, yet just when things were about to endanger her, those people stopped.
Mu Qingcheng knew that someone was protecting her. It wasn't that she hadn't thought about Xie Wei, but Xie Wei was in Shanghai at the time and had no idea what had happened to Mu Qingcheng.
"Wow, our little orange is so smart!" Xie Wei looked at Mu Qingcheng with a smile, then added, "Honey, here's a kiss for you."
