Chapter 109 Special Meaning

Rudy raised an eyebrow upon hearing Theresa's request.

Should I put you down?

Impossible!

He chose to play dumb.

As if he hadn't heard her request, Rudy rested his chin on the girl's shoulder in his arms.

"Teresa, you smell so good."

It smells delicious.

No wonder Goddess Lilith called her the Demon King's attraction machine; even if Rudy wasn't the Demon King, he would still be attracted to her.

A white-haired, legally-loved loli is so cute.

Upon hearing someone's words, Theresa trembled slightly, and a blush rose on her delicate face.

She struggled for a moment, her face hard, and said in a low voice:

"Before I get completely angry, you'd better behave yourself."

oh.

So being hugged didn't make her completely angry after all.

Rudy smiled.

He gently released Theresa and helped her stand up straight.

"So, let's get back to the main topic, Theresa. What have you been up to these past few days?"

Seeing that he was somewhat sensible, Teresa proudly puffed out her chest, though it was quite flat.

It has absolutely no curvature.

The kind where you can see your toes when you look down.

After all, she's a legal loli.

“It’s nothing,” she said.

"I went to the lower realm these past few days to find the current archbishop of the church and inquire about some things."

"The church has discovered a new saint and asked me to go and vouch for her."

“Oh, Saintess. What does she look like?” Rudy asked curiously.

"Hmph~, what's it to you?" Theresa was instinctively annoyed when she heard him ask that.

“Of course we’re related!” Rudy looked at her confidently. “According to the usual tropes of fantasy worlds where heroes and demon kings exist, the so-called saintesses of the church are usually companions of the heroes!”

"In other words, the saintess of this church may very well travel with me in the future."

Theresa: "..."

"What kind of look is that? Are you looking down on me?"

"Heh. Of course it's contempt, what else? Should I praise you? Can't you think of anything other than pretty girls?"

"Oh, so the saintess really is a beautiful girl."

Rudy smiled.

"But thinking about it, it makes sense. If the church's saints aren't pretty, no one will want to join the church in the future."

"Shut up! Stop thinking about all that nonsense, Rudy. Let me tell you, it's best not to get involved with the church, or you'll regret it."

Theresa said something serious.

Rudy was even more confused.

"Why?"

"Isn't the goddess worshipped by the church Lilith?"

Seeing his curious expression, Theresa sighed deeply.

"Rudy, do you know the Hero of Techniques?"

"I know. The person who created the Hanging Gardens with you."

"Then do you know how the Hero of Techniques died?"

"How could I possibly know that?" Rudy shook his head, then suddenly his expression changed. "Theresia, you mean the death of the Hero of Spells is related to the Church?"

"That's right."

Theresa nodded seriously and continued:

"At that time, the hero of magic was invited by the church to study a magic."

"But when I saw the Hero of Techniques again, she had gone mad and become a vessel for a demon king. In the end, we had no choice but to use all our power to kill her."

"So, Rudy, I'll say it again, don't get involved with the church."

As she spoke, she seemed to recall those sad things, and Theresa's delicate little face became melancholy.

"I understand, Theresa, I will not get involved with the church."

"It's good that you can listen to me."

Theresa smiled with satisfaction and turned around.

"Alright, it's getting late, you should get some rest."

"Wait," Rudy called out to her immediately.

"What's wrong? Is there anything else?"

Theresa turned around and looked at his face with a puzzled expression.

Rudy chuckled.

"Um, Theresa, how about... you stay tonight?"

"..."

At first, I didn't realize it.

Theresa froze.

Then, she quickly blushed with embarrassment and said angrily:

"You wish!"

"Pervert, die!"

She stomped on his foot hard, snorted coldly, and walked out of the room smugly.

"Ouch, that hurts!"

"If you don't want to, you don't want to. Why are you putting me down?"

The ship of friendship can really capsize in an instant.

Rudy pursed his lips and muttered a complaint before lying back down.

What Teresa just said is worth pondering.

A legendary hero.

The hero of magic was betrayed by the church and became the vessel for the Demon King, causing him to go berserk and ultimately be killed by his former comrades.

How pitiful.

Fortunately, the hero was just an identity Rudy was disguised as.

If the church dares to make a move against him, they'd better think twice about their own capabilities.

the next day.

Troyes's class.

All students gathered at the entrance of the maze.

Troyes looked at the students and smiled with satisfaction.

"Dear students, I believe you have all successfully condensed your own divine seals and weapons by now."

"And the progress of the Powered Maze has reached level 20 or 30."

"As I mentioned in the first lesson, we will be exploring the maze in randomly assigned teams."

"So today's lesson is about randomly forming teams. Many of you may not like it, but this is to train your ability to adapt to changing circumstances."
