"Thank you for saving us."
Let's tidy up for a while.
A middle-aged knight approached respectfully and gave Rudy and the others a deep knightly salute.
The blue-haired woman from before had recovered somewhat, dressed neatly, and gracefully bowed while holding up her skirt.
"Thank you so much. My name is Asalina, the daughter of a viscount. I will remember your kindness for the rest of my life."
The blue-haired woman said.
She was originally going to the Empire to visit her cousin.
Unexpectedly, they were attacked by an orc band of thieves while passing through the border.
As she spoke, the blue-haired woman's gaze unconsciously fell on Rudy, whom she felt was the leader among them.
After all, his other companions were all girls.
The blue-haired woman expressed her gratitude and pleaded with them to accompany her and provide protection, promising a generous reward upon their return to the capital.
Rudy didn't care about the thank-you gift or anything like that.
He was somewhat puzzled.
"Aren't orcs prohibited from crossing the border? I remember our empire and the Origo Empire once signed a non-aggression pact. How come there are orc gangs of thieves crossing the border here?"
The middle-aged knight answered this question for him.
"Sir, you must have just returned from Meltison. In fact, the Oligo Empire recently blatantly broke the treaty and even occupied several villages on the border."
"Currently, our Asorent Empire and the Oligo Empire are considering going to war."
"As a result, a large number of orcs entered the border area, and some nearby villages have been completely wiped out."
"These barbaric and disgusting creatures leave corpses everywhere they go. Men die and that's it, but women are raped and dismembered, and some are even eaten raw. They are truly beasts!"
"I see. It just so happens that we are also heading back to the capital, so we can travel with you since we're going the same way."
Rudy began to speak.
"Thank you so much! May I ask your name?"
"My name is Rudy Lou Meyers."
"Oh! It's from the Duke's family!"
The blue-haired woman gasped in surprise.
"That's right, you know me?"
"I know, Lord Rudy, you must be the Duke's third son. It's all over the place. People say you're young and promising, and the most outstanding student at the Hero Academy."
The blue-haired woman said excitedly.
Rudy awkwardly touched his nose; he felt a little uncomfortable being praised to his face.
"Ahem, well, anyway, let's look after each other on the way. You guys go and rest first, and we'll set off once you've rested up."
"Yes, Lord Rudy!"
A noble status is still quite useful.
At least these hired ordinary knights were very respectful.
Rudy glanced in the direction the two had left and sighed.
The bloody scene today had a significant impact on him.
I never expected there would be such ferocious orcs.
He still finds the look in that handsome knight's eyes, which had just ruined his chrysanthemum, terrifying.
The Empire is about to go to war.
A small hand slowly reached out and twisted around Rudy's waist.
"Rudy, why are you staring at her like that? Are you trying to give us another sister?"
Rudy's lips twitched.
"What are you talking about? Do you think I'm that kind of person? I'm thinking about something."
"Really? But she has a great figure."
Michelle said with a smile.
Rudy flicked her forehead with his finger and said irritably:
"None of them are as good-looking as you."
"As for your figure, I can help you if you want to make changes."
Michelle blushed, made a face at him, stuck out her tongue, and turned to run away.
"I don't need your help, you bad guy! I'm going to ask Sister Serena for help!"
Rudy stroked his chin, lost in thought.
He actually called Salina "older sister"?
Are they treating her as the first wife?
Well, whatever.
Anyway, he doesn't seem to need to worry about the arrangements among the girls.
They handled the problem themselves.
It's absolutely flawless.
All he cares about is enjoying himself.
