Kane nodded vigorously.
Then, with a miserable expression, he pointed to his mouth.
Olive covered her mouth in surprise, "Oh dear, I'm sorry, I forgot you were under a 'shut up' spell. I'll remove it for you right away."
With a wave of her hand, Olive's magical clay that had stuck Kane's mouth to her lips turned back into soil and flew out of the classroom.
This masterful alchemy made the students gasp for breath.
Kane grinned smugly.
"Rudy, sorry about that, it's my turn to make you spin around now!"
"Your magic, my love, flows like a torrent, ever-flowing, let us dance!"
As he finished speaking, he raised his hand and unleashed a gray light that merged into Rudy's body.
One second.
10 seconds.
A minute passed.
Kane looked at Rudy awkwardly.
Why aren't you spinning it?
Rudy rolled his eyes and said irritably:
"You cast the magic, why are you asking me?"
"Damn it! I don't believe it, I'll try again." Kane, unwilling to give up, chanted the spell once more.
However, when the magic struck Rudy, it was like a drop of water falling on a sponge—not a ripple could be made.
After 10 attempts, Kane was panting heavily from exhaustion, while Rudy remained standing there perfectly fine, showing no intention of spinning around.
Kane suddenly became somewhat withdrawn.
Olive smiled and said, "Alright, Kane, you can go now. It seems you don't have enough control over this magic yet. You can practice more later."
"Now, let's give other students a chance to shine."
"oh."
Kane, his face long and his shoulders slumped, returned to his seat listlessly.
He was devastated.
Why did Rudy learn it on his first try and even use it on himself?
I've used it at least 10 times and it still doesn't work?

A class period passed, and apart from Michelle and the silver-haired girl Ariel, no one else successfully cast a spell.
