Chapter 4 The Divine Seal Envoy, Little Maid Michelle

Rudy, however, is certainly not subject to this restriction; he can use magic without relying on the divine seal.

Over the past five years, through trial and error, he has learned magic of various other attributes.

After all, his magical power was enormous.

Ultimately, the effectiveness of magic depends on the strength of magical power and mental strength.

Rudy once tested the water magic that Mary had used, and he almost flooded the room. Fortunately, he used his Gluttony talent to absorb the water and restore it to magic power, otherwise his power would definitely have been discovered.

Unlike Mary, who needs to activate her divine seal with a spell to use magic, Rudy's magic doesn't require any incantation and is almost instantaneous.

These days, which powerful person would be foolish enough to chant incantations?

Instant-cast spells are definitely the most effective.

However, to be fair...

Rudy felt that most of the time, using magic incantations was just for showing off.

"Greetings, Third Young Master."

As he passed through the corridor, Mary led a blonde girl with pigtails to bow to him.

Rudy nodded, but didn't say anything, continuing to read his book and gradually walking away.

The maidservant beside Mary is named Michelle, who only arrived at the mansion to work as a maid a month ago.

He's only 5 years old now, just like Rudy.

She's just an adorable little girl.

She's quite pretty; at least Rudy hasn't seen any other maids, except for Merry, who's cuter than her.

However, unlike Meryl, who possessed a lower-level divine seal and had attended the Hero Academy, Michelle was a slave bought by the Duke.

...

Watching Rudy's retreating figure, Michelle raised her beautiful eyes to steal a glance, then quickly looked away.

She timidly reached out her small hand and tugged at the red-haired maid, Mary's, skirt, whispering:

"Sister Meryl, is he Master Rudy? He seems so aloof."

These words made Mary cover her mouth and chuckle.

Then she raised her slender finger, poked her little head, and chuckled and scolded her.

"What are you thinking about, little girl, when we've just met?"

Michelle blinked her big amber eyes and bit her finger.

"Sister Meryl, I'm scared."

"My mother said that if I don't find a gentle owner, I will have a very miserable future."

Hearing this, a hint of tenderness flashed in Mary's eyes, and she raised her hand to pat her little head.

"Don't worry, I can't speak for the other two young masters, but as for young master Rudy, he's incredibly gentle."

Mary knew about Michelle's situation, so she subconsciously felt sorry for this lovely girl.

This young girl sold herself to pay for her seriously ill mother's treatment.

"Yeah?"

Michelle bit her finger, feeling intensely curious about the boy named Rudy.
