Looking around at the scenery, Michelle nodded in satisfaction.
She sat down on the bench in front of the pool, patted the spot next to her, and said fiercely:
"Hurry up and sit here."
Rudy observed her slightly flushed face with great interest, then sat down next to her, arms crossed.
"Speak, Michelle, what exactly do you want from me?"
"It's nothing, I just wanted to ask you something."
The girl looked up at him, then lowered her head again, looking embarrassed.
"Okay, go ahead and ask. I'm going back to rest after you're done."
Upon hearing this, Michelle took a deep breath and stared straight at him.
"Rudy, I heard you... signed a contract with Kane?"
Rudy nodded slightly, admitting, "Yes, I did sign a contract with Kane."
"Why?" Michelle blinked her watery eyes, looking at him with confusion.
"Don't you know that signing a contract is equivalent to giving your rare light attribute to Kane?"
"From now on, your light attribute will no longer be unique. Aren't you worried about it affecting your treatment at the academy?"
"Although the Light attribute can only be used for support, its unique healing and recovery abilities are unmatched by the Water attribute. Are you an idiot?"
"Don't you find what you're saying strange?" Rudy said, a look of surprise on his face.
"When we first met, you reminded me of Kane's abilities, and you even hoped that Michelle could sign a contract with Kane. Why is it that now you don't want me to sign a contract with Kane?"
"Michelle, can you answer my question?"
Upon hearing this, the girl was completely stunned.

Seeing the conflicted look on her face, Rudy's lips curled up.
"Michelle, you wouldn't happen to have fallen for me, would you?"

Michelle glared at him angrily, her body heaving, and she couldn't help but stomp her foot, looking like she'd get angry if he said anything more.
"Then hurry up and tell me, why are you asking me such strange questions?"
"I...I...Hmph! Enough nonsense. I'm asking you, when you agreed to sign the contract with Kane, did you propose any strange conditions?"
Michelle stared at him fiercely, hands on her hips.
The red ponytail swayed in the wind, making Rudy a little envious.
This is a perfect steering wheel.
Next time, let Michelle try wearing a ponytail too.
