Rudy glanced at Theresa's bare feet and then knelt down in front of her.
"Theresa, let me carry you on my back. Remember to wear shoes next time, or you'll catch a cold."
Looking at the boy who was squatting down in front of her, Theresa's eyes flashed with a hint of curiosity about Rudy.
"Okay, thank you, big brother."
With a sweet voice, Theresa leaned onto Rudy's back and let him carry her.
The mansion.
Olive had just returned from the Magic Research Society.
After taking a shower, she went to the kitchen and found Michelle cooking.
This little girl is really diligent.
Olive felt that letting Rudy and Michelle move in was the right decision.
"Hey, girl, where's your young master?"
Olive asked casually.
“Ms. Olive, young master Rudy has gone out and hasn’t come back yet.”
"Now that he's back, have him come to my room."
"Yes, I understand."
"Very well, you can continue with your work."
Olive gave the order and turned to go back to her room.
A short while later.
Rudy's voice came from the doorway.
"Ms. Olive, I'm home. Are you home?"
"I need your help with something."
Upon hearing this, Olive smiled and walked out.
"Little Rudy, have you finally remembered your teacher? What do you have... Hey! What... what are you holding?"
Olive's eyes widened as she looked at the person on Rudy's back, her delicate body trembling.
Theresa smiled and winked at her.
"Oh, she's a lost girl I met on the road. Ms. Olive, you've been working at the Hanging Gardens for so long, you should know who she is, right? I just want to ask you to help me take her home."
Rudy calmly offered an explanation and put Theresa down.
Olive wanted to shout, "Do you know who you're carrying on your back?"
That's a disaster star.
The legendary Dean, feared by all the male teachers!
Although she wanted to say that, Olive knew she was in the wrong, since she had concealed Rudy's light attribute and hadn't reported it immediately.
Moreover, Theresa was now wearing a pitiful expression, clearly wanting her help to continue the act.
"You brat, what a pity, you picked up a little girl the moment you stepped out the door."
"However, you're right, I happen to know where she lives. I'll leave her to you. You can go in first."
"Okay, thank you, Ms. Olive."
Rudy smiled and responded, then said to Theresa beside him:
"Theresa, do you see this pretty older sister? She'll help you find your family later."
Upon hearing this, Theresa subconsciously pouted.
And a beautiful older sister.
If it weren't for the curse, she would definitely be a more beautiful woman than Olive now!
"But big brother, you said you'd take me with you, and now you're pushing me onto someone else. You're a big liar!"
When Teresa pouted her lips, her acting was phenomenal.
She was eager to see how Rudy would handle the situation.
“Uh, Theresa… I…”
"Alright, alright, leave this girl to me, you go inside quickly."
Olive stood menacingly in front of Rudy, grabbed Theresa by the waist, lifted her up, and headed towards the door.
After closing the door, Olive immediately put Theresa down and called out with her head down.
"Dean."
"Hmph!"
Theresa put her hands on her hips and looked at her with a cute but fierce expression.
"You still remember I'm the dean?"
Why wasn't it reported?
"This is a holder of the Light Attribute Divine Seal, just like your mother. Do you really think I would harm him?"
Olive bowed her head deeply, "I... Dean, I'm sorry, I just..."
"Just what?"
Theresa glared at Olive with displeasure.
"Girl, you should have seen it before."
"The blood moon has descended."
"And this time it's a double blood moon."
"We must prepare in advance."
“I understand everything you’re saying, but… Dean, can you guarantee that Rudy won’t lose control like Mother did and be used by others?”
Olive mustered her courage and stared at Theresa.
This little girl who raised herself is indeed very powerful.
But didn't he still fail to protect his mother?
The legendary hero of magic has actually become one of the demon kings and has been defeated.
No one would believe that if I told them.
Hearing this, a hint of guilt flashed in Theresa's eyes.
“Olive, this is my fault. I was too careless.”
"But I assure you, if Rudy has the potential to become a hero, I will protect him, even if it costs me my life."
Upon hearing this, Olive gave the petite sage in front of her a deep look and sighed.
She understood.
The best course of action is to entrust Rudy to her guidance.
But for some reason, I still feel a little reluctant to part with it.
She was still somewhat afraid that Rudy would be targeted by those mysterious people, just like her mother, and become the next demon king to be defeated.
Olive took a deep breath and asked in a low voice:
Have you confirmed his qualifications?
"Also, regarding the Demon King candidates..."
Theresa knew what she wanted to say and immediately shook her head.
"no."
"He doesn't have the aura of a demon king on him."
"Of course, this is only a preliminary assessment, and further observation is needed."
