Chapter 5 Naïve Targeting

"Shut up, Eli. Didn't I tell you? We need to get along. The future of the Mels family depends on the three of us. You're targeting Rudy again, aren't you? Tell me, what are you planning to do this time?"

Kadia stared seriously at his restless younger brother.

Eli pouted, holding the back of his head in annoyance, and casually replied:

"I didn't do anything wrong. I was just giving that half-dead guy a spur on on behalf of my father!"

"Eli, you!"

Kadia was even more troubled.

Back in his room, Rudy discovered that his coat was missing.

This is a birthday gift from his mother.

"..."

Rudy immediately realized it was Eli's prank and was speechless.

That's really childish.

Do you want to see him embarrass himself in front of the Duke because he doesn't have formal attire, and get a scolding?

This isn't the first time.

Lately, he keeps losing small things.

Sometimes it's shoes, sometimes it's a hat.

So, we're all born of the same father, is it necessary to target me?

Is Eli something seriously wrong with his head?

"Um...Young Master Rudy, is this yours? I found it in the dumpster outside. I've washed it clean. Do you still want it?"

As he pondered a solution, a clear, bell-like voice rang out from behind him.

Rudy's expression froze for a moment, and he subconsciously turned around, only to see a blonde little girl with pigtails holding a coat and cautiously scrutinizing his face.

Rudy smiled, the corners of his mouth turning up.

“Yes, this is mine. Thank you for helping me find it, Michelle.”

"No...you're welcome."

Michelle quickly shook her head, put the clothes on the bed, hesitated for a moment, then mustered her courage and said:

"Um, I just saw Master Eli come out of your room..."

After saying that, she lowered her head, looking uneasy.

After all, she was essentially tattling.

"I understand, thank you for telling me. But Michelle, don't tell anyone else about this. As for my situation, I'll figure something out."

"Well then, I'll go now. I still need to help Sister Meryl."

"Go."

Rudy waved to her in a friendly manner and smiled.

Michelle looked at his handsome face, her cheeks flushed, and she quickly lowered her head and ran away.

Watching her lovely back view, Rudy stroked his chin, pondering a solution.

Although he disdained Eli's childish targeting, it was still annoying that it never stopped.

then……

The next day, Eli broke his leg while practicing swordsmanship and passed out.

I also missed the awakening ceremony.

When Eli woke up and learned that he could only participate in the next awakening ceremony next year, he burst into tears.

Rudy immediately felt much better, and it is said that he maintained a cheerful smile all day.
