Chapter 6, “Laws”.

This is a small village attached to a big city. When the player came to find Alice, he happened to encounter this small village executing a witch.

A tall bonfire was built neatly, and a woman in a black robe was tied to a cross. The villagers surrounded the execution ground, cursing and shouting loudly.

The witch was tall and beautiful, but her hair and eye color were very strange. She had long silver hair and clear purple eyes, and her soft face was as delicate as an angel.

But unexpectedly, the witch who was about to encounter misfortune did not have any negative emotions. There was no despair, anger, resentment or pain on her face, only calmness.

Facing these villagers who wanted to kill her, her attitude was very calm, even with a little expectation.

As the kind protagonist of the chosen one, the player must of course save this new paper wife. He scolded the villagers, asked for the truth, and finally proved the innocence of the "witch". Then he overpowered all the villagers and personally rescued the "sinner" from the cross.

The witch thanked the protagonist gently and said that her name was Julia. Her real identity was not a so-called "witch" but an alchemist. She was born into a large family of alchemists, but unfortunately her family has fallen into poverty. Her ideal is to revive the reputation of alchemy.

The reason why Julia was executed by the villagers was simple: she was unable to cure their diseases.

Julia is an alchemist. She said that what alchemists are best at is making all kinds of magic props, which can protect alchemists, but she herself does not know how to fight at all.

Julia, who has great ambitions, travels all over the world. When she first came here, she only

She helped the villagers repair their houses and mills, for which she was appreciated. Then, by chance, she cured one or two villagers who were suffering from strange diseases, which further increased her reputation. However, more and more people came down with strange diseases, and Julia was helpless. In the end, she ended up repaying her kindness with enmity.

Harmless women and children tricked her into drinking poisoned water, cunning villagers stole her magic puppet props, and the alchemist, who had lost her protective layer, had no choice but to surrender.

Thus, with this fate, the protagonist not only found Alice, but also got to know a confidante. However, the peaceful plot came to an abrupt end here, and what followed was an intense suspense.

In order to repay the protagonist, Julia is willing to help the protagonist group tailor-make magic props. The strange disease in this small village also aroused Isis's curiosity. This righteous knight led his subordinates to visit the village, but was at a loss as to how to deal with the strange disease.

This strange disease was extremely bizarre and only infected ordinary people. Even Theresa had no idea what it was. What was worse was that it seemed to be contagious. Within a few days, patients appeared in Isis's army.

This caused a big stir, as some clergymen saw that the disease was a trick of the "devil". When people were in panic, only the protagonist stepped forward and vowed to find out the truth.

With the help of Julia, the protagonists explored all the surrounding villages and cities, unraveled all the clues, and finally pointed out that the murderer was several dark wizards.

At this time, things diverged again. Isis advocated killing the main culprit to control the disease, but Jasmine tried to save the black wizard's life. She believed that the black wizards mastered different spells and alchemy arrays, and she wanted the black wizard to spit out everything.

And at this critical moment, the main storyline arrived as expected.

It was another similar tragedy, another brutal upheaval. Everyone - all the ordinary people who were sick, together with those dark wizards, died tragically. Their deaths were extremely miserable and horrifying. The perpetrators were naturally the ogres who were harassing the protagonists.

The strange disease was accidentally eliminated, and the clues of the tragedy once again pointed to the royal capital. At the same time, doubts arose about Julia, and she seemed to be related to the ogre.

So the protagonists took Julia to the royal capital. Because of suspicion, Julia was temporarily detained, but she did not feel anxious or resentful at all. Just like when she was about to be burned at the stake, this beautiful woman with silver hair and purple eyes still maintained an optimistic mood.

What’s even more surprising is that Julia confessed her love directly to the protagonist.

This is the first direct revelation of the relationship

As a supporting character in the story, she clearly expressed her sincere admiration to the player. Favorability cannot be faked. Julia's favorability was full at some point in time.

Some players were curious about this and saved the game and started over. After repeated comparisons, they came to the conclusion that Julia's favorability seemed to have skyrocketed after the tragedy, and within a few plot points, she went from having an ambiguous favorability to having an affection for him in the penultimate chapter, "The King."

The author has something to say: I feel uncomfortable when school starts...
