"This is infuriating! This is infuriating!"
Wu Er walked out of the secluded alley and returned to the bustling area of the Chaoran Sect.
He had just had a conversation with President Dong, which made him quite angry. He kept muttering to himself the whole way, and his words were full of angry remarks.
Wu Er has lived for seven hundred years. Although he is now somewhat unruly, he is also calm and composed.
But this composure and calmness vanished after meeting that old scoundrel.
A simple "Whatever you say" and a sour face are enough to make anyone angry, no matter how old they are. You can't help but want to punch this old scoundrel.
And this old rogue is actually an immortal, not someone anyone can mess with; even Wu Er is unwilling to touch him easily.
If the heavens and earth were solid and all living things had strong fortunes, Wu Er would have beaten this old scoundrel long ago, and even beaten up the other families along with him.
He's wanted to have a fight for a long time; most things can be resolved with a fight, but the problem now is that he can't have a big fight.
This is really a headache.
As Wu Er walked, he said, "We need to stir up some trouble, at least make that old scoundrel feel humiliated."
Because of his own principles and the fact that he dared not break ties with Dong Zongshu, he could not kill anyone this time, at least not those in high positions in the Chaoran Sect.
Since killing people won't work, then smashing and destroying treasures will.
It's likely that General Manager Dong thought the same way, knowing that Wu Er couldn't have come for nothing.
He just wanted to spend some money and give some treasures to Wu Er to smash and vent his anger on.
Wu Er felt that President Dong was coaxing a child, and Wu Er was the child being coaxed.
Even though I knew what was going on, I still smashed things to vent my anger, because not acting like a child would be a loss.
Although the Chaoran Sect is a sect, it's also a place for entertainment.
It can be said that the major sects of the human race are actually fully functional cities.
The entertainment options for the Chaoran Sect are rather limited, consisting of only one tavern.
The vermilion-painted door and pale green window screens clearly indicate a place for drinking and revelry.
Whether immortals or mortals, drinking is a common form of entertainment.
Wu Er was furious, so he naturally went into the tavern to vent his anger with alcohol.
"Bring me a pot of wine, the most expensive kind."
Wu Er kicked open the tavern door and strode in.
This startled everyone inside, who all turned to look at Wu Er.
What a show of power! Kicking the door open and barging in, and then demanding the most expensive wine!
Wu Er didn't have any spirit stones on him, nor did he have the habit of carrying them.
The reason he wanted the most expensive option even though he didn't have the money was because he had no intention of paying at all!
Why would Wu Er pay for the property of the old rogue sect?
The apprentice working at the tavern panicked. He had never seen such an arrogant person before, and he was momentarily flustered as well.
Wu Er went to the counter and said, "Bring me the most expensive wine."
The disciple snapped out of his daze and quickly nodded, saying, "Okay, I'll be right there!"
This conversation drew sighs from the others in the tavern.
Who is this person?
"How arrogant."
"They probably have some kind of background or identity."
......
The people in the tavern were constantly talking; those with some status spoke out directly, while others used whispers to avoid offending anyone.
But whether it was spoken aloud or transmitted through sound, Wu Er heard it clearly.
However, he was too lazy to pay attention to these people. It was not good to get angry with some junior disciples, at least he thought it was not good to get angry with junior disciples.
Because after he finishes drinking, he plans to smash things in the treasure vault of the Chaoran Sect.
As for why we should go after drinking...
With alcohol in your stomach, whether you're drunk or not, you'll think less and be able to smash things without restraint.
Okay, actually, this is just him trying to find an explanation for himself.
What explanation are you looking for? Explanation for the assault!
Junior brother was bullied, do you really think you can solve the problem by smashing a few magic weapons?
The magical artifact was smashed, and people were injured!
The disciple working in the tavern had already prepared the wine, placing a sealed wine jar on the counter and saying, "Sir, one hundred and fifty spirit stones."
Wu Er picked up the wine jar, broke the mud seal, and was about to take a big gulp.
After finishing his drink, he wiped his mouth and said, "It tastes awful."
After uttering those two words, Wu Er released the wine jar.
Then, with a "crack," the wine jar fell to the ground and shattered into pieces, spilling its contents onto the floor.
This action drew attention from everyone in the tavern. Putting aside the quality of the liquor, it was truly peculiar that such an expensive item would be smashed so easily.
The apprentices working at the tavern had never seen this before, and they also sensed something was amiss.
So he lowered his body and whispered, "Sir, one hundred and fifty spirit stones."
Wu Er held out his hand and said, "I have no money."
No money? Does having no money mean you're going to default on your debt?
The patrons in the tavern were all in high spirits, drinking and acting like rascals—there was bound to be some excitement to watch.
The disciple frowned and said, "Don't joke around."
Wu Er tapped the counter and said, "I'm not joking."
The atmosphere froze slightly, then the disciple said again, "If you have no money, you can offer something as collateral."
Wu Er shook his head. "I have nothing to offer as collateral, but I can write an IOU."
Although they still didn't have the money, writing an IOU was acceptable, but the apprentice who was working didn't want to take action.
The onlookers in the tavern shook their heads and turned away, knowing that things had likely escalated to the point where a fight was unlikely.
The disciple then reached into his pocket and took out a piece of cloth and a magic pen.
"Let's write an IOU."
"good."
Wu Er took the pen and, with a flick of his wrist, wrote words on the cloth.
After finishing writing, he returned the cloth and pen together, saying, "Take good care of it."
