The woman ignored Wu Er's words and continued to ask, "Why have you been following me all this way?"
Confused Wu Er was stunned again upon hearing this.
Yeah, why would I follow that girl all the way? Isn't that just perverted behavior?
wrong!
Wu Er shook his head vigorously, and his thoughts became clearer.
"Young lady, it's like this."
With his mind clear, Wu Er began to recall what had happened yesterday.
"Yesterday I was attacked by a ghost and almost died. In my last moments of unconsciousness, I saw a golden bell, which looked somewhat like the one in the girl's hand..."
Upon hearing this, the pretty woman first lowered her head to think for a moment, then turned her head to look at the bell in her hand.
"Who do I think it is? It turns out to be the mortal I rescued last night."
It really was her who saved him!
This is my savior!
Wu Er's heart trembled, and he understood why his chest had been torn open last night, but had miraculously healed after he woke up from his coma.
The woman glanced at Wu Er indifferently, then nodded and said, "Alright, is there anything else? If not, please leave."
After saying this, the pretty woman stopped looking at Wu Er and turned to leave.
"My benefactor, wait!"
Wu Er suddenly stepped forward and called out to the woman who was about to leave.
The woman seemed somewhat impatient after being called upon.
But she seemed to have a good temperament; instead of walking away, she turned around and asked, "Is there anything else?"
Wu Er is a grateful person; if someone does him a favor, he will try his best to repay it.
This beautiful woman had saved Wu Er's life, so Wu Er couldn't just let her leave like that; he had to return something to her.
"Young lady, I have nothing to repay you for saving my life, only some candy..."
Wu Er wanted to thank them, but couldn't find anything valuable to give them as a gift.
He was penniless, his clothes were practically falling apart, and he had nothing of value to offer except a bag of candy.
Wu Er took out a bag of candy beans, then stepped forward and handed it to the woman.
The woman glanced at Wu Er, didn't refuse, reached out and took the candy, then turned and left.
As Wu Er watched the woman turn to leave, he suddenly remembered something.
So he quickly asked, "What's your name, young lady?"
I asked a question, but received no answer.
Wu Er thought to himself: Perhaps the woman walked too fast and didn't hear me.
Without being asked his name, Wu Er shook his head.
"I haven't even asked my benefactor's name. How am I supposed to repay their kindness?"
