This is a fateful encounter...
Well, actually, Wu Er didn't expect to meet Han Qingxiu, and Han Qingxiu also didn't expect to meet Wu Er.
"What a coincidence, you're on this hill too."
Wu Er was just strolling around, and after taking a walk through the loquat grove in the small mountain, he felt good and took the initiative to greet Han Qingxiu.
Han Qingxiu's eyes widened when she saw Wu Er, and then a look of panic appeared on her face.
She quickly sheathed her sword and respectfully greeted, "Senior Long..."
senior?
Wu Er didn't understand at first, but after thinking about it, he realized it.
It was probably because he used so many magical treasures in that secret realm that he revealed some of his cultivation level, which is why Han Qingxiu called him "senior".
However, Wu Er is a mischievous person who pretends even when he knows he's been exposed.
Wu Er feigned surprise, looked around, and then asked in confusion, "Senior? Where is the senior? I don't see him."
Han Qingxiu knew that Wu Er was faking it, and a hint of anger appeared on her face.
Even though she was angry, she couldn't show it, so she could only respectfully say, "Senior Long, please don't tease this junior."
"Huh? What did you say?" Wu Er shook his head. "I'm not some senior."
This idle person is still causing trouble.
Han Qingxiu took a breath, forced a smile, and said, "It was wrong of me to be rude to you before, senior. I apologize to you."
Since they've been so blunt, most people wouldn't make a fuss anymore.
But Wu Er...
"Huh? Apologize? I'm scared! What are you doing? Are you trying to hurt me?"
It was clear that Wu Er was not only speaking in an exaggerated tone, but also making exaggerated expressions, and it was obvious that he was deliberately trying to annoy people.
This poor performance can't fool anyone at all, and the actions even have an ironic quality.
A vein bulged on Han Qingxiu's forehead as she thought to herself: He really is an elder! Which elder in the sect is as unruly as this person?
Although she thought this in her heart, Han Qingxiu still said respectfully, "Senior, you really love to joke."
After saying this, he put on an extremely insincere smile.
"Are you kidding? I didn't finish watching it! Seriously!"
However, Wu Er is still acting, and his acting skills have hit new lows, becoming increasingly fake.
Another vein popped out on Han Qingxiu's forehead, clearly indicating her anger, but she still managed to give Wu Er a smile in return.
So after the two of them went on and on without any limits for a few rounds, Han Qingxiu finally couldn't take it anymore.
"Long Aotian, I respect you as a senior, but you can't treat me like this!"
Han Qingxiu was thoroughly fed up with this shameless acting; she was seething with anger.
"You, a cultivator with such high cultivation, are just pretending to be a disciple for no reason? And you even went to participate in the Grand Competition! And you even stole my Net Jade! Are you just bored out of your mind?"
Having vented her anger with her first sentence, Han Qingxiu went on to say a second one, since she had already offended them anyway, she didn't need to hold back on what she said next.
After saying this, the veins on Han Qingxiu's forehead subsided considerably, and she clearly felt much better.
Since they've already made it clear, Wu Er can't continue acting, otherwise it would be really awkward.
Han Qingxiu glared at Wu Er angrily, then said, "Alright, I've finished talking. You can punish me now!"
She realized her impulsiveness, but since she was already acting impulsively, she might as well go all the way.
Then Han Qingxiu said again, "Remove me from the disciples' list, and then send me to guard a mortal city outside!"
Seeing Han Qingxiu's desperate expression, Wu Er realized just how infuriating his acting had been; otherwise, he wouldn't have provoked such a junior disciple to act so impulsively.
However, no matter how impulsive Han Qingxiu was, Wu Er wouldn't care, much less exile her.
Wu Er chuckled twice and said, "You've said everything that's on your mind? Are you done?"
"Hmph!" Han Qingxiu said defiantly, "You've finished speaking. Now you can punish me however you like!"
"Punish you?" Wu Er waved his hand lazily. "Why would I punish you for just telling the truth?"
Hearing this, Han Qingxiu said angrily, "Still acting! Are you going to reward me instead of punishing me?"
"Yes, I'm going to reward you."
Wu Er said dismissively, "I dare say you'll be promoted to inner sect soon, is this reward alright?"
"Promoted to the inner sect?" Han Qingxiu's lips twitched. "I might believe you if you said something else, but I absolutely don't believe this. No high-level lecturer in the sect is willing to accept someone like me with no background."
Wu Er rubbed the corner of his clothes and said slowly, "Someone will take him. You are the chief disciple of the outer sect."
"So what if you're the chief? Without connections, you can never become an inner disciple."
Han Qingxiu shook her head, her tone revealing a sense of helplessness.
She won numerous top prizes in various competitions, but no one has been willing to take her on as a member of the team for a long time.
This strengthened Wu Er's resolve to make this decisive move; if the system wasn't reformed soon, countless promising talents would be buried.
Wu Er felt sorry for Han Qingxiu, who was clearly talented but couldn't get a promotion because she had no connections, so he thought of helping her.
So Wu Er said, "Tell me, what do you want that person in the sect to take you as a disciple? Just say it, and I guarantee you'll get what you want."
Upon hearing this, Han Qingxiu smiled but remained silent, believing that Wu Er was teasing her.
After all, it's unrealistic to have other senior lecturers waste their spots on someone with no background.
So Han Qingxiu thought that since they were making fun of her, she might as well just give a nonsensical reply.
Then Han Qingxiu asked again, "Okay, I'll ask you, is it okay if it's just anyone?"
