"Han Qingxiu?"
Wu Er looked at the cautious Han Qingxiu and said, "It really suits you."
Han Qingxiu looked at Wu Er's clothes and assumed he was an ordinary outer disciple.
But then I thought about it again. I hadn't noticed this person earlier, so I figured his cultivation level must be quite high, at least at the Golden Core stage. He was probably a peak guardian from some peak.
So he became even more cautious, cupped his hands and said, "Senior, what is it?"
Wu Er shook his hand and said, "I already told you, I asked you what you were worshipping."
"I am worshipping an immortal."
Han Qingxiu cupped her hands in greeting.
"I know you're worshipping immortals."
Wu Er tilted his head and said, "I want to ask, which immortal are you worshipping?"
Han Qingxiu was puzzled by this question.
Does that even need an answer? It's obviously because they worship the immortals of their own sect!
But then I thought again, this might be a test of my loyalty to the sect.
He said, "Of course, I'd like to pay homage to the sect leader."
This answer amused Wu Er, who never expected that someone would worship him, let alone a real person.
So he said, "Then you are really lucky."
Han Qingxiu, however, was cautious. She bowed slightly and said humbly, "Thank you for your praise, senior."
Then Wu Er asked, "Then why did you come to this place to worship the immortals?"
Han Qingxiu replied, "I heard a rumor that the sect leader once stayed here. I wanted to come here to pay my respects to the sect leader and absorb some immortal energy so that I could pass the next assessment and become an inner disciple."
"You still have this custom?"
Wu Er stroked his chin, thinking that he had actually become a mascot.
Han Qingxiu blinked and replied, "Senior, you must have joined a sect as a rogue cultivator. We have to pay respects to the sect leader every time we take an exam. I heard that if you absorb immortal energy, your wishes will come true."
After listening, Wu Er didn't say anything, scratched his head, and thought to himself: I have this function?
Then he started spacing out, his mind wandering to fantasies of being worshipped in various ways, and a smile appeared on his face.
After a while.
Seeing that Wu Er wasn't asking any more questions, Han Qingxiu took the initiative to ask, "Senior, is there anything else you want to ask?"
Wu Er snapped out of his daze and said, "Say it again, what's your name?"
"Han Qingxiu".
Han Qingxiu cupped her hands and bowed.
"Han Qingxiu, right?"
Wu Er chuckled and nodded, saying, "Okay, I'll remember that."
After saying that, he suddenly disappeared.
Han Qingxiu breathed a sigh of relief when she saw Wu Er disappear.
It's quite embarrassing to think that I've been seen paying respects to the sect leader today, but at least I've met a senior, so it's not bad.
So he took out a long piece of jade from his pocket and wrote down what had just happened.
And then added: I feel we should be given some portraits of the sect's high-ranking members so we can get to know them and avoid being impolite.
Then send it.
Sudden.
What are you writing?
A voice came.
Startled, Han Qingxiu looked up sharply, and sure enough, Wu Er appeared before her again.
She was a little panicked, but quickly calmed down and said, "Senior, you didn't leave."
Wu Er looked at the long jade stone in Han Qingxiu's hand and said, "That's net jade, isn't it?"
"yes."
Han Qingxiu cupped her hands in greeting, glancing at Wu Er looking at his jade pendant, as if she had thought of something.
So he politely said, "Senior, you must be a rogue cultivator who doesn't know about this. This is the Net Jade of Pengshan Sect. It is unique in the world and can be used to connect with other similar magical artifacts in the sect. It can also connect with the library. It is of great help to cultivation and is the most unique magical treasure of Pengshan."
After saying that, he added with a hint of pride, "Originally, disciples below the Golden Core stage couldn't use this, but I won first place in the competition a few months ago, so I was able to use it."
Wu Er naturally knew that this thing was a net jade; he had just taken one apart.
Although it was dismantled, I haven't really played with it much yet. Seeing Han Qingxiu play with it makes me really want to try it too.
So he said, "May I take a look?"
"this......"
Han Qingxiu paused for a moment, then cupped her hands and said, "This item was issued after my divine sense was recorded. No one else can use it except me."
Han Qingxiu refused. Actually, others could use it, but they would need his permission.
He treasured this thing ever since it came into his possession, and even slept with it in his arms.
I've never lent money to any of my close friends, so how could I possibly lend it to a complete stranger?
Even seniors are not allowed.
Wu Er didn't say anything, but simply clenched his fist, and a long jade block appeared in his hand.
Han Qingxiu looked at the long, thin piece of jade and felt it looked familiar; it was exactly the same as his.
Same style?
Suddenly realizing that her hands were empty, Han Qingxiu came to her senses.
Seeing her precious jade pendant in someone else's hands, Han Qingxiu instantly felt angry.
Ignoring all talk of seniority, he drew the sword from his waist, its tip pointing directly at Wu Er.
He shouted angrily, "You thief, give me back my jade pendant right now!"
