What are the main points of Chapter 144?

On the beach of an island in the southern region, there were two people and one demon.

One is an unconventional immortal, another is a woman in a long, egg-yolk-colored dress with fluffy hair, and the third is an octopus demon who calls himself Cthulhu.

Well, what kind of monsters and demons live on this little island...?

"Please help me!"

The girl in the pale yellow dress cried out for help to Wu Er again, her eyes filled with fear.

The octopus-like monster Cthulhu moved its tentacles, splashing water onto the beach, and then arrogantly declared, "No one can save you. Submit to me, Cthulhu!"

Although Wu Er really wanted to see the story between the tentacle monster and the beautiful girl, he still stood up as a righteous person.

"In broad daylight, under the clear sky, they're openly engaging in... no, bullying a vulnerable woman!"

Although some words in these words revealed Wu Er's thoughts, the main idea was still conveyed.

The woman in the pale yellow dress was overjoyed to hear this and thanked him profusely.

"Thank you, my benefactor! Thank you, my benefactor!"

When the octopus demon Cthulhu saw Wu Er step forward, he flew into a rage and shouted, "Didn't you hear my name just now? I am Cthulhu, the strongest demon in this sea!"

To this, Wu Er replied casually, "Then the cultivation level of the demons in this sea area is really low..."

Although it may have been said unintentionally, the sarcastic effect was maximum.

Cthulhu raised his eight tentacles and slapped them incessantly on the beach, leaving trails and scattering fine sand everywhere.

"Pooh!"

Caught off guard, Wu Er got a mouthful of sand, and his face was also covered in it. The carefree feeling he had just had while watching the sea and sunbathing vanished.

Wu Er shook his shorts again, and another clump of sand came out, making him look disheveled.

"Damn, you've ruined my great mood."

So disheveled, Wu Er was naturally in a bad mood, so he decided to teach this indescribable octopus demon a lesson.

At this moment, Cthulhu was unaware of the seriousness of the situation and smugly said, "Ha! You really are a sand shrimp, you are a sand shrimp!"

Wu Er wasn't quite sure what the first part of the phrase, "sand-dwelling mantis shrimp," meant, but he figured it was probably a dialect from the southern region.

However, Wu Er heard the second half of the sentence, "Shapi," very clearly.

That sounds like an insult.

Wu Er looked at Cthulhu with a "kind" expression and said, "Since you've never had human blood on your lips, I won't kill you. How about this, I'm thinking of going on a sea trip and I happen to be missing a mount. How about you become my mount on the sea?"

As the strongest monster in this sea, Cthulhu failed to recognize the difference in strength and continued to maintain his arrogance.

He even boasted, "How arrogant! I'll make that woman and you become my mounts later!"

Although these words were just something Cthulhu said without thinking, they are quite ambiguous.

This mount... well, those who know, know.

Upon hearing this, Wu Er's face changed color, and he exclaimed in surprise, "No way, this can even be used for something erotic?!"

After saying that, Wu Er suddenly attacked, appearing in front of Cthulhu in a flash and throwing a punch.

The punch was well controlled; it only made Cthulhu stagger but didn't completely destroy his upper body.

Then Wu Er bent down again and reached out to grab one of Cthulhu's tentacles.

"I'll teach you to be so lewd!"

Wu Er pulled on the tentacles, and Cthulhu moved along with them.

Then came another swing, and Cthulhu seemed to turn into a ball, being tossed around on the ground by Wu Er.

"So, are you still going to use colors?"

As he spoke, Wu Er increased the force, smashing several large craters into the beach.

Cthulhu, tossed around, displayed his octopus-like instincts, and was slammed so hard that he spat out ink.

The ink stained the ground, turning into tiny black dots.

The demon, who was so majestic just moments ago, is now in a pitiful state.

"Stop smashing! I was wrong! I'll never do it again! Ah! Ah! Ah!"

After only a few blows, Cthulhu begged for mercy.

Hearing the pleas for mercy, Wu Er stopped and said, "Weren't you so fierce just now? Why are you begging for mercy now? What a spineless coward!"

Cthulhu, who was lying on the ground panting, heard this and wondered if it was flattery.

He then said, "That's right, Your Excellency is wise. Octopuses are indeed born with soft bones."

Although the human and the demon were not on the same wavelength, Cthulhu's words made Wu Er feel better, so he released Cthulhu's tentacles.

The woman who had just asked for help was stunned. Although she had sensed that Wu Er was strong, she hadn't expected him to be this strong.

This Nascent Soul realm demon was beaten to a pulp in just a few moves. What kind of strength is that?

“My lord!” Cthulhu crawled up to Wu Er’s side with eight tentacles. “I will be your mount from now on, and I will serve you.”

Faced with Cthulhu's complete change of attitude, Wu Er naturally didn't make things difficult for him, waving his hand and saying, "Alright, go stay over there."

After dealing with one demon, there's still someone else nearby.

"Tell me, what happened?"

Wu Er turned his gaze to the woman beside him.

She was the one who attracted the demon, and she was the one who cried for help. Now that Cthulhu has been defeated, this woman deserves an explanation.

Upon hearing Wu Er's voice, the woman snapped out of her surprise and bowed slightly.
