Chapter 117: Underground Hanging Coffins

As I was falling, I suddenly came to my senses. Damn, I can't just keep falling like this and wait for death, right? From the side, I saw Ning Xue, her face pale as she stared into the abyss below, her legs wrapped around me, her hands tightly clinging to my neck. For a moment, I felt that happiness had come so suddenly...

Then, Su Xiaoniu slammed me awake: "Don't be silly, we're almost at the bottom. There's a pool of water below. Get the yellow paper ready. The moment you see the pool, use the waterfall!"

I nodded slightly, my right hand tightly hugging Ning Xue's body. With my left hand, I took out a piece of yellow paper, pinched it, and stared intently at the abyss below, where the pool of water loomed, and there were faint flickers of phosphorescence. I took a deep breath, muttered something, and suddenly shouted softly. I twisted the yellow paper in my hand, and in an instant, I saw a huge wave suddenly rise from the pool, rushing towards us.

When I saw this, I was shocked. Something was wrong. We were falling so fast, and the huge waves were sweeping up from below. If the two collided, wouldn't we be beaten to death on the beach?

Then I heard Su Xiaoniu say again: "Who told you to use it only once? Another earth flow rock will appear from both sides of this passage."

I seemed to understand her intention, and immediately picked up another piece of yellow paper and slammed it on the wall beside me. I saw a huge rock rushing out of the wall and rushing straight to the other side. The huge waves below swept up and hit the rock hard. However, most of the waves were blocked by the rock, while a small part of the waves rolled up from both sides of the rock and continued to rush upwards.

Even so, this wave shouldn't be underestimated, but it wasn't as terrifying as before. I turned my back, holding Ning Xue tightly in my arms, and then, back to back, boom! We fell into the waves. The waves bore our combined weight, and we crashed powerlessly onto the nearby boulder. My back felt a little numb, but otherwise, nothing serious. After all, the rushing waves helped to cushion our fall, so once we landed on the boulder, it wasn't as terrifying.

"Xu Fei..." Ning Xue huddled tightly in my arms. After a long time, she raised her head. It seemed that she saw that she had landed safely, and then she realized that she was pressing me under her.

I lay on my back, took two deep breaths, and looked at Ning Xue, who was soaked all over. Her snow-white skin was exposed, her soft chest was pressed tightly against me, and her pretty face was red. I suddenly felt a little dry in the mouth.

Who knew Su Xiaoniu would suddenly ask me to look down, as if something was happening? Ning Xue and I stood up, stood on the rocks, and peered down into the pool. Our eyes widened. What did we see? Two ebony coffins hung on either side of the pool by thick iron chains. A cold, sinister aura wafted faintly from the two hanging coffins.

Ning Xue and I exchanged a glance, and she said, "Why are there coffins in a place like this? And two of them?"

I shook my head and said we'd see what happened next. So, we both jumped off the giant rock, which I'd made from earth flow rock and was stuck just a meter or two from the pool. It was perfect, and with a little effort, Ning Xue and I were able to walk down.

There were corpses, spent shell casings, discarded machine guns, and other debris scattered everywhere. In the distance, there were traces of bombing raids, and the ground was devastated. It seemed that this tunnel was indeed a place where Lexian Village once hid and resisted the Japanese invaders. Although it was dug quite deep, it didn't seem to have much effect, otherwise there wouldn't be so many bones on the ground.

Even more surprising was that the closer we got to the two hanging coffins, the stronger the icy yin energy grew. Even a yang-oriented man like me was shivering with cold, let alone Ning Xue, who possessed a yin-influenced constitution. Ning Xue was shivering with cold, and her clothes, already soaking wet, made her face pale and her limbs stiff.

If this goes on, Ning Xue might freeze to death. I don't have any heating tools at hand, and if I use the Samadhi Fire, my yellow paper won't be enough to burn! I hurriedly asked Su Xiaoniu for help. After thinking for a while, Su Xiaoniu told me that the reason Ning Xue was shivering wasn't because she was truly "cold," but rather a chill that spread from within. There were two main reasons. First, the Yin energy in this tunnel was too strong. As someone with the Evil Yin, she didn't like to be near other places with strong Yin energy, which was why she felt this way. Second, she felt the Yin energy between her bloodlines, causing the Evil Yin in her body to stir.

In other words, whether it is one or two, it is all caused by E Yin?

"There is a way to make her feel better temporarily." Su Xiaoniu said suddenly.

I hurriedly asked what to do, and Su Xiaoniu said lazily: "Transfer some of your Yang Qi into her mouth, and she should be fine in a short time."

I was sweating. Isn't this mouth-to-mouth? I looked at Ning Xue's pale face, rubbing her hands. She was shivering with cold and could barely walk... Never mind, saving people is the most important thing! I rushed over, grabbed Ning Xue's head with both hands, and before she could react, I kissed her.

I'd never kissed before, and this was my first time. Su Xiaonu wanted me to channel some of my yang energy into her. When I touched her mouth, it was tightly shut, so I thrust my tongue in. Ning Xue probably had no idea what I was doing, especially in such a place. But soon, feeling my tongue stirring frantically inside, she closed her eyes, opened her mouth cooperatively, and responded with her own sweet tongue...

Damn it! I'm not in the mood to kiss you passionately in a place like this. I'm here to give you some yang energy!

Without saying a word, I used my tongue to press down her moving tongue. Then, I took a deep breath through my nose, and a breath of yang energy suddenly exhaled, surging away.
