The text states that nine coffins appeared in Liwan Square, a fact now widely known to Guangzhou residents. Even more bizarre, the overhead view of Liwan Square in these photos reveals it to resemble a large Bagua (a Chinese gossip symbol)! Was this intentional by the original builders, or did it simply become so? To this day, it remains a mystery.
Liwan Plaza itself is not very tall; it's just a large, comprehensive shopping mall with nearly a thousand shops. Although it has a low foot traffic and poor business conditions, with shops frequently being auctioned off, the area is located in a prime location. The immediate vicinity is filled with traffic and crowds, making it difficult to understand why there are so few people inside.
Su Xiaoniu was surprised to see the picture and said, "This must be the 'Nine Star Dragon-Severing Formation' used to suppress evil spirits. It looks like the Bagua, with eight important star positions distributed throughout, and a main star standing in the middle, used to sever dragons... I always thought this ancient Yin-Yang Formation was lost. I didn't expect it to appear in a place like this. It's incredible!"
Nine Star Dragon Severing Formation? Used to suppress evil spirits? Could it be that there's some evil spirit beneath Liwan Square? But this formation is too large. Is this evil spirit so strong that it requires such a large formation to suppress it?
Su Xiaoniu said incredulously, "The Nine Stars Dragon-Severing Formation is an extremely ancient Yin-Yang formation. In the past, during the war between the Yellow Emperor and Chi You, the Emperor's daughter, Ba, died in battle and transformed into a zombie, which is now commonly referred to as the ancestor of zombies, 'Hanba.' The appearance of Hanba caused a global drought, devastating the people and disrupting the battle between the Yellow Emperor and Chi You. In the end, the Yellow Emperor and Chi You had no choice but to temporarily cooperate and set up the Nine Stars Dragon-Severing Formation to suppress Hanba."
The ancestor of zombies? Drought?
Holy shit, I almost pissed myself! According to Su Xiaoniu, is the zombie ancestor Hanba suppressed beneath Liwan Square? But Hanba hasn't appeared for thousands of years now!
Su Xiaoniu said calmly: "Whether it is true or not, we will know after we go and take a look."
I nodded. Anyway, I couldn't find the location of Feibaijiang now, and these zombies and nine coffins all appeared in Liwan Square. Maybe I could find some clues, so I decided to go to Liwan Square to investigate!
At this time, Feng Ling came back from the bathroom, and I told her that we can’t just sit there and waste time. We must go to Liwan Square to investigate. Some things may be solved there!
At that time, Feng Ling frowned and asked me, "The police have been investigating Liwan Square recently, but they haven't found anything unusual. What else can you expect to find if you go there?"
I paused. That's right. There are so many police officers investigating Liwan Square now, but they haven't found anything strange in so many days. Even if I go there, I may not find anything.
"Come with me to the hospital first to visit the injured police colleagues. As for the matter of Liwan Square, they will send me a message later, and I will know then." Feng Ling took a sip of tea, took the car keys and drove away.
I shrugged and followed him out.
After arriving at Jiangmen People's Hospital, Feng Ling bought some fruit and went in to comfort the police officers injured by the zombies. There were about 20 or 30 of them, all from Jiangmen. These officers were relatively lucky, having only been injured and not strangled to death by the zombies. Others, however, were far worse off, either strangled or bitten to death.
According to common sense, people who are bitten to death by zombies will also turn into zombies, but after those policemen were bitten to death by zombies, Su Xiaoniu had already asked me to take targeted measures immediately, thus avoiding the vicious cycle of policemen turning into zombies.
While Feng Ling was visiting the police officers, I went to the hospital restroom to pee. When I came out, I saw a young man squatting at the entrance of the corridor, secretly crying. I frowned. This was a hospital, and perhaps his relatives were sick, and he was crying out of worry.
Out of kindness, I went up to him and comforted him, saying things like, "My dear brother, life and death are determined by fate, and wealth and honor are determined by God. Try to be more positive."
Then it was tragic. The boy cried even harder. Damn it. I looked around very embarrassedly and found that many people nearby were looking at me, as if I had bullied the boy.
I said, "Your girlfriend just dumped you. Stop crying. I'll introduce you to someone better in a few days!"
Suddenly, the eyes of the patients nearby shifted away from me, and their eyes seemed to reveal the meaning of "it's no big deal". I was so impressed by my wit.
The young man immediately stopped crying, looked up at me and said, "Brother, don't talk nonsense. I've been single for 20 years. How can I have a girlfriend, let alone being dumped by one?"
I patted his shoulder and said, "Same here... I've been through the same thing, so I understand how you feel, brother."
The young man angrily said, "You know nothing! My father is dead, that's why I'm crying!"
I was stunned. Damn, this is so embarrassing... I was so embarrassed that I didn't know what to say. Just then, a nurse came over and said, "Zhou Xingxing, why are you here? Your father Zhou Li's death has been confirmed. Go and notify your family."
The young man named Zhou Xingxing stood up and walked out. I was stunned. Zhou Li? Isn't that the male doctor I met that night when the director asked me to come to the hospital to look for Feng Ling because someone died? He was fine then, so how could he be dead now?
I immediately asked the nurse if Zhou Li was a surgeon at this hospital. The nurse gave me a clear answer: "Yes, are you his friend or family member?"
