Chapter 189: The Flying White Zombie Appears

However, I wasn't afraid. Those little ghosts and zombies were no match for me. A single golden talisman reduced them to dust. As for the zombies, I didn't need glutinous rice wine. Their reactions were too slow. I quickly attacked them, applied the corpse-suppressing talisman, and instantly subdued them.

I've got plenty of black and purple zombie-suppressing talismans ready to protect against sudden zombie appearances. There were five zombies in total, all black and purple, the lowest class. But regardless, their power was still immense. I went up and drew a circle around their necks with my Yang Blood, then pulled out the Three Purities Bell.

bite!

The five zombies approached me directly. Seeing this, I smiled evilly and said, "You want these zombies to be your helpers?"

I didn't answer him, I just smiled and said, "I don't mind putting you away."

My posthumous self shrugged and said, "That won't do. My existence is a sign that you're going to die soon. If I continue to exist, won't you die every day?"

"You'd better stay away from me." I rolled my eyes, shook the Sanqing Bell, and led the zombies forward.

"Ah~ maybe, I think we are about to separate." I smiled calmly after my death.

I was stunned for a moment, but didn't show any expression.

Ahead lay a rapid. I climbed onto the shoulders of one of the purple zombies and then directed the zombies to jump into the current one by one. This rapid might have a strong impact on the human body, but for the zombies with their rigid bodies, it was different. Once these zombies jumped into the water, they were like wooden stakes, motionless. Despite the turbulent current, they remained motionless.

Only when I shake the Sanqing Bell will they jump forward.

Soon, I jumped onto the land on the other side of the rapids with the five zombies. From here, the road began to flatten out, or rather, there was no road ahead at all, it had reached the end, and I saw a terrifying scene.

A circular platform stood in front of me. My dead self told me that it was the altar. Atop it sat a bronze coffin, its lid engraved with a fist-sized nine-pointed star. Near this bronze coffin stood eight other shabby coffins, each covered in various yellow talismans, surrounding the bronze coffin on the altar.

There are nine coffins in total!

Are these the nine coffins that appeared at Liwan Square back then? And now, they're all gathered here. Why?

Bang!

Suddenly, the lid of one of the coffins beneath the altar opened, startling me. My pupils constricted as I stared at the coffin. As the lid opened, a head slowly rose from within. Once the lid was fully opened, a figure suddenly stood up from within.

My mouth formed an O shape as I watched the man crawl out of the coffin. I called out in surprise, "Officer Feng?"

That’s right, the person who crawled out of the coffin was Feng Ling!

"Don't ask me... I don't know why I crawled out of the coffin..." Feng Ling walked up to me and said blankly: "When I saw my dead self, I was so scared that I fainted. When I woke up, I was here."

"I knew this a long time ago." I was secretly shocked. This development... is it really the same as what I said after my death?

Feng Ling suddenly glared at me angrily and asked, "Come to think of it...why didn't you respond when I called you?"

I smiled awkwardly and said, "Is there? The intercom must be broken..."

Just as Feng Ling and I were about to start arguing, a man in a police uniform slowly approached from behind: "I didn't expect you to make it this far."

Feng Ling and I turned around and were stunned: "Director?"

Why is this director here? Feng Ling and I looked at each other, completely confused as to what was going on.

The director walked around us, approached the altar, and stood in front of the bronze coffin. He faced us with a strange smile and said, "It must have been a tough journey, right? Captain Feng almost died."

Feng Ling asked bewilderedly, "Director... I don't know what you're talking about..."

The director patted the bronze coffin beside him, his somewhat portly body trembling slightly. He said, "Haven't you been looking for the Flying White Zombie? Haha... Now that we're here, it's almost time. I'll tell you, I'm actually the Flying White Zombie you've been searching for day and night!"

As soon as he finished speaking, the police uniform exploded, and the director suddenly turned into a zombie with a disgusting face, red pupils, white hair all over his body, and sharp teeth and fangs in his mouth!

That's right, it was the flying white zombie I ran into at the police station! It was actually...

Not only was Feng Ling speechless with shock, even I was stunned. This... I never expected that the director who had been fighting alongside us in the zombie arrest operation would actually be the captain of these zombies, Fei Baijiang!

"No... No... I must be dreaming... It must be an illusion..." Feng Ling covered his head and fell into panic.

"Ha!" Fei Baizang exhaled a breath of cold air, and the air around him instantly solidified, becoming extremely cold. His terrifying red eyes rolled around, looking at Feng Ling, who was sitting on the ground, suffering a great blow. He said, "What's wrong, Captain Feng? Where's your usual heroic demeanor of severely punishing the murderer? This is not like you!"

"Director..." Feng Ling lowered his head.

Fei Baijiang grinned grimly, "I'm not a director now, much less your boss. Hurry up and pick up your gun and kill me! - But can you kill me? Hahahaha! However, I'm still looking forward to seeing how strong Officer Feng, whom I personally trained, has become! Come on! Let me see your true strength!"
