Chapter 330: Ten Years of Vegetarian Fasting, Just for a Day of Rest

"She's already been here." Mei Mingyou's sweet laughter suddenly came from the far corner of the auditorium, with a hint of sadness.

Have you been here?

Where is it!

Where is it!

I rushed forward, grabbed Mei Mingyou's shoulders tightly, and shook her violently. My red eyes seemed to be bleeding: "Where is she!"

"Ah... bad boy, is there anyone as unkind as you to women?" Mei Mingyou seemed to be in so much pain after being grabbed by me. Her eyebrows were raised and she looked at me with eyes wide open.

"Sorry... I was too excited." I quickly let go of her hand. However, I couldn't calm down inside.

Mei Mingyou smiled softly and said, "She came, and then left. It's that simple."

I glared at him and asked, "Are you kidding me?"

Mei Mingyou shrugged and said, "There's nothing I can do if you don't believe me. Anyway, she's seen you and Ning Xue complete your wedding ceremony. Her life's wish has been fulfilled, and she's gone to the underworld."

Underworld?

"She went to the underworld?" I suddenly felt so scared: "She went to the underworld... Isn't she going to be judged by hell? She is going to hell? No... No... I won't allow her to go to hell, no one can let her go to hell! She is so cute, so selfless... She is so good, isn't that enough! Why does hell have to judge her! - If anyone dares to touch her, I will destroy the entire underworld!"

I walked out in great anger. Mei Mingyou caught up with me from behind and said, "Are you going to the underworld? Don't be crazy, okay? We mortals don't have the ability to enter the underworld anytime and anywhere. We can only enter the underworld during the Ghost Festival every year when the gates of hell are opened. Besides, even if you go to the underworld, what can you do? She is now..."

I paused, turned around, and frowned, "What happened to her? Do you know something? Tell me!"

At this moment, a huge yin energy suddenly surged up from behind him, and at the same time, a man's high-pitched voice was heard: "Yin Yang Fairy, she sacrificed all her amazing skills for the common people, and even more for you, and even lost her two souls and seven spirits. She could not stay in the world of the living for three hundred days, and now she has to go to the underworld."

I subconsciously turned around and saw that it was Marshal Wen, the leader of the Ten Great Guardians of Mount Tai in the underworld. He used to be Su Xiaoniu's friend. The last time we went to the underworld, he seemed very respectful to Su Xiaoniu, and he also told me about the "Three Hundred Days".

Perhaps, from that moment on, Marshal Wen already knew the outcome. He already knew this day would come.

"Did you send her to the underworld? Now that she is in the underworld, will she be judged by hell and suffer there?" I asked him through gritted teeth, feeling extremely sad.

Marshal Wen nodded gently, then shook his head and smiled, "I sent her to the underworld. If she hadn't entered the underworld in time, her soul would have been shattered in the mortal world, and you would never see her again. Originally, she was destined to suffer in hell, but after the earnest pleas of us, the Underworld Gods, the Underworld Emperor and even the Ten Kings of Hell were moved by our sincerity and pardoned the fairy from suffering in hell. However, this does not mean that her karma can be eliminated, so the Underworld Emperor punished her to go to Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva to repent and recite the Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva Sutra to gradually eliminate her karma. But with only her limited strength, it may not be possible to eliminate all the karma even after hundreds of millions of years. I am afraid that she will never be able to reincarnate."

My fingers trembled slightly as I whispered, "Reincarnation? Reincarnation... Is there really such a thing as a past life, a present life, and a next life?"

Marshal Wen smiled broadly, "If you believe, then it exists; if you don't, then it doesn't exist. Many people say they don't believe in past lives and future lives because they haven't seen them, don't remember them, and can't prove it. I usually respond to such questions with a question: 'If there is no afterlife, how can there be this life?' Those with a high level of understanding, who enjoy thinking about life and possess a certain degree of philosophical thinking, will feel a sudden enlightenment upon hearing this. But those with a cruder, simpler, and more sensory mindset won't grasp the meaning. Things in this world cannot be understood solely with the eyes. Just because you can't see something doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Nor can we rely solely on memory, because many things may be forgotten, yet they truly happened. To say that past lives and future lives cannot be proven is also incorrect. It's not that it can't be proven, but that you haven't found a way to prove it."

I suddenly felt a sense of enlightenment, and a glimmer of hope suddenly lit up in my tired eyes: "What should I do? How can I let her reincarnate?"

Marshal Wen said, "Build a grave for her, place her remains in it, erect a tombstone, write a eulogy on it, and then write the word 'Mo' on the palm of your hand with your own blood. From this moment on, you must recite the 'Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva Sutra' day and night before her grave, and observe a vegetarian diet, with no thoughts in your mind. The 'Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva Sutra' will draw power from you, and once a year, the power you inspire will enter the underworld directly and be received by the fairy. In other words, she will be able to feel what you are doing for her."

"How long will it take?"

"That depends on your sincerity. It could take ten or twenty years at the fastest, or a hundred or a thousand years, or even a lifetime. If you're not sincere enough, you won't achieve anything in your entire life. But if you are sincere enough, then the powerful power of your vows will quickly eliminate all the karma from the fairy... — Fairy Yin Yang, whether you can reincarnate again in this life depends entirely on you. That's all I have to say. You can do whatever you want."

Marshal Wen disappeared after he finished speaking.

My heart sank.

I heard footsteps behind me, and my recognized wife, Ning Xue, walked over. Seeing me like this, her eyes dimmed slightly, but it was gone in a flash. She said softly, "Go, Xu Fei. No matter what you do, I will always support you."
