Uncle Chen spat out a loud "Pah!"
"You've done something that has disgraced the family head, so we'll deal with it on his behalf to avoid further embarrassment!"
"What are you standing there for? Arrest Bai Shi!"
Members of the Chen clan stepped forward.
Bai shouted coldly, "Guards!"
A group of people immediately emerged from the shadows, blocking the Bai family and forming a standoff with the Chen family members.
The two sides were on the verge of exploding into a tense standoff, ready to clash at any moment.
Neither side was willing to back down!
Seeing her people blocking the way, Bai's expression softened slightly. She secretly gave Marquis Anping and Li Yao a look, signaling them to hurry up and leave.
