"Linnai, Linnai!" Nightfall cradled his face, asking anxiously, "Are you alright?"
"...It's nothing." Lin Nai hadn't spoken earlier because the feeling of divine power rapidly integrating into her body was just too comfortable.
He felt so comfortable that he almost lost his senses.
Linna clenched his fist and felt it for a moment.
Within the nodes and meridians of the body, it seemed as if an endless stream of divine power was surging.
This is an unprecedented power!
'That was...' Night hesitated.
"Yes," Linnaeus replied, "it's Carlos's divine power."
Nightfall looked puzzled. Not only her, but Linna was also shocked; she hadn't expected Carlos to store a portion of his divine power in the void!
Who the hell would have thought of that?
Linna looked at the other two bubbles floating in her palm.
The purple oval sphere remained motionless; the patterns on its surface resembled some kind of writing, most likely Void Script.
'Could this be...?' Linnai glanced up at the black dragon furiously: 'Your egg?'
"Roar!" This time, the black dragon didn't nod, but only responded with a sound, and it was unclear whether it was saying yes or no.
Linna looked at the last bubble, which was empty.
What's the purpose of this bubble if there's nothing inside it?
Just as Lin Nai was wondering, the bubble suddenly grew larger, engulfing both Lin Nai and Ye Wan'er.
Immediately afterwards, the bubble shot out like a rocket, at an outrageous speed!
Lin Nai and Ye Wan'er had no seats, so they did a somersault in the bubbles, their foreheads colliding hard, making them both wince in pain.
"roar!"
The black dragon's figure gradually disappeared into the distance. It raised one of its claws and waved it at them, while its huge tail swayed happily, as if saying goodbye.
This guy is actually kind of cute...
Linna turned back to look at the black dragon and thought to himself.
Unfortunately, the bubbles were moving too fast. The enormous black dragon disappeared in the blink of an eye, and Lin Nai didn't even have time to say goodbye.
The bubbles are moving faster.
The surrounding void retreated rapidly, like lightning.
In the blink of an eye, it seems we've already surpassed the speed of light...
Then, a beam of white light filled the eye membranes of Linnaeus and Ye Wan'er...
......
On a vast wilderness.
The weather was terrible, and purple sand filled the sky.
The sky was shrouded in a gloomy fog.
A massive dimensional rift stands in this desolate wasteland.
"Buzz—"
Suddenly, a beam of white light shot out from the dimensional rift.
Linna and Yewan sat on bubbles and slowly landed.
As they landed, the giant bubble disappeared.
"We're... back?"
Linna carefully observed the world around her.
Everywhere was desolate, with only endless purple sand and purple stones.
Let alone a shadowy figure.
There wasn't even a single living creature.
Which dimension is this?
This is so desolate.
Linnaeus let out a sigh of relief.
But no matter which dimension they were in, at least they escaped from the void world, and at least their lives were saved.
Red-eyed Night, who had been lying on Linnai's chest, slowly got up.
She said with a complicated expression, "I never thought that I could actually come out alive after being sucked into a dimensional rift."
Lin Nai smiled: "And what's more, we never expected that the first people to come out alive would be the two of us, right?"
Night nodded: "Mm."
Lin Nai thought to herself, "No matter how I think about it, this matter seems very strange."
Carlos actually knew the black dragon, and they even seemed to be old acquaintances.
Moreover, he actually stored a portion of his divine power there.
It feels like...
Just as Carlos had long anticipated that he would one day fall into the void, he deliberately left a portion of divine power there for him to retrieve!
Linnaeus pondered.
Just as he was thinking.
A gentle and kind person suddenly moved closer to him.
It pressed hard against his lips...
"Hmm...?!"
Lin Nai stared in astonishment.
"......"
"......"
"......"
I don't know how many minutes later.
Lin Nai took a breather, spread her arms on the ground, and said resentfully, "Why did you launch a sneak attack again?"
Nightfall blushed slightly and slapped Lin Nai: "It's all because of your lousy pendant! I... I couldn't resist... Now it's all out, take it off right now!"
Lin Nai smiled and was about to raise her hand to take off the pendant around her neck.
However, just as he grabbed the pendant and was about to take it off, he suddenly stopped.
"Why...why aren't you taking it off yet?" Ye Wan'er asked, struggling to resist Lin Nai's attraction to him.
"I'm thinking," Linna said, "but isn't it a little unfair that I'm the one being gnawed on?"
Nightfall was taken aback: "Huh?... Hmm!"
Linna and Yewan switched positions this time.
......
