Chapter 158 The White Dragon Clan Arrives
The White Dragon Clan leader narrowed his eyes slightly and said, "If we can cooperate with the Fu Clan and learn how to grow rice, we will have access to endless wealth."
The young male instantly understood what his father meant.
But in an instant, he frowned again. "But, will Ophelia be willing?"
The White Dragon Clan leader showed a calm expression on his face, "If she doesn't want to, I naturally have other ways."
He looked confident.
"Father said."
"Don't worry about these, Bai Ma. Go prepare the generous gifts and bring Barenbu with me to attend the full moon ceremony the day after tomorrow."
Baima is the name of a young male.
Barenbu is the son of Baima and the grandson of the chief of the White Dragon Clan.
Bai Ma had some guesses in his mind, but his father didn't want him to know too much, so he didn't ask any more questions.
But since his father said he wanted to prepare a generous gift, he would prepare it well.
Two days later, it was the little dragon cubs' full moon ceremony.
The males of the Fu tribe spontaneously get up early, go hunting in the forest, and then come back before the sun rises.
Ophelia and Taylor also got up early. Taylor lit the bonfire and started grilling.
Ophelia also took out the fruits she had picked in the mountains in the past few days to entertain the guests who came today.
Around ten o'clock, the chiefs of each tribe came with their people.
To show solemnity, those who came with the clan leaders today were either the young clan leader of the tribe, the clan leader’s wife, or the young females in the clan leader’s family.
By the time the barbecue was ready, all the guests had arrived.
However, some distant tribes heard about the full moon ceremony and came to congratulate with gifts.
Although the Fu people had no dealings with these tribes, they came with generous gifts and it was not easy for them to chase them away.
Everyone ate and drank, and several clan leaders, led by the Fu clan members, visited the chicken coop, paying special attention to the pigpen.
The piglets in the pigpen have grown into the size of adult wild boars, but they are not as fat yet.
However, the pigs are in good spirits and look like they can make it to adulthood.
By then, they will become pregnant with piglets, and the pig farming business will be complete.
It would be much easier to raise pigs that have been domesticated for a generation, but I don't know if Ophelia would be willing to share her experience or give them a few piglets.
Thinking of this, several tribal leaders brought their partners or daughters and surrounded Ophelia.
Several males winked at their families, and several females smiled and spoke.
"Chief of the Fu Clan, you have raised these three little cubs so well."
"Yeah, it doesn't look like it's just one month old."
"I wonder who their father is?"
Ophelia already had answers to several of the males' questions in her mind.
So he lied without batting an eyelid. "They are Taylor's children. They grew stronger because they were well-fed in her womb."
Since Ophelia said this, no one would jump out to refute her.
There is a young patriarch who looks simple-minded.
He said casually, "But why do the scents of these three little females smell a little different from Taylor's?"
The other tribe leaders first glanced at the male, and then their gazes fell on the three delicate and graceful cubs.
Faced with the male's questioning, Ophelia was not angry and still had a smile on her face.
"They like to play in the woods, so their body odor is a bit strong. It's normal that you don't smell like them."
When everyone saw the dirt on the faces and arms of the eldest brother Cohen and the second brother Daner, all their doubts disappeared.
"The little ones are lively."
"Being lively proves that they are in good health."
The young male heard the other clan leaders say this.
He realized belatedly that he had said the wrong thing.
He looked at Ophelia feeling a little guilty, and was relieved to see that she still had a smile on her face and no expression of displeasure.
Rebecca came over accompanied by Leon, the leader of the Golden Dragon Clan.
The tribal leaders couldn't stand surrounding Ophelia all the time, so they went to talk with Leon and exchange information.
Rebecca looked at her three grandchildren and smiled from ear to ear. She kissed one and then the other.
Wendy was so happy to be kissed, and Daner didn't react at all. Only the eldest brother turned his head away awkwardly and wiped the saliva off his face.
Rebecca saw Cohen pretending to be sad. "Don't you like it, Cohen? Don't you like your grandmother too?"
"Do you dislike your grandmother?" She pretended to sob.
Seeing his grandmother's sadness, Cohen pursed his lips. "No, it's not that I don't have it."
But Rebecca has no direct blood relationship with him.
So I couldn't understand what he was thinking at all, I could only hear him babbling.
"What is Cohen baby saying? I don't understand." Rebecca continued to tease.
The little female next to her smiled happily when she saw this.
Only then did Cohen realize that he had been teased. He blushed and buried his head in Taylor's arms.
Seeing her son's shyness, Ophelia tried to dissuade him. "Mother, please stop talking. Cohen is already unhappy."
Rebecca: "Don't be angry, Cohen baby, it's my fault. I'm not angry, and you shouldn't be angry with your grandmother, okay?"
Cohen turned his head after a long time and nodded gently.
At this moment, the White Dragon Clan leader came over with his son Bai Ma and grandson Barenbu.
The White Dragon Clan leader saw Rebecca from afar and greeted her warmly.
"Sister Rebecca."
Suddenly hearing this unfamiliar name, Ophelia and Rebecca turned their heads in confusion.
What I saw was a middle-aged male with a shrewd look on his face but no obvious calculation in his eyes.
Rebecca thought for a long time before she remembered the other person's identity.
She asked doubtfully. "Brother Bailong?"
"She's my cousin. We haven't seen each other for a long time."
Rebecca felt a little guilty for almost not recognizing him. She smiled awkwardly. "My cousin still has a better memory than me."
Bai Long smiled gently, not at all annoyed that he was almost not recognized by the other party.
"I've changed so much. It's normal that my cousin didn't recognize me."
"My cousin, on the other hand, has been well taken care of by the Golden Dragon Clan leader over the years and is still as young and beautiful as ever."
No woman can resist being complimented on her beauty.
Hearing Bailong praising her like this, Rebecca also recalled some memories of their childhood playtime.
Bai Long turned to look at Ophelia again, "My cousin's daughter is as beautiful as you. In the blink of an eye, she has grown up so big, and she is so capable that she has established a tribe of her own."
"It's not easy for a little female to establish a tribe."
Bai Long then called his son and grandson to come forward and he kindly introduced
"Sister Rebecca, this is my eldest son Baima, and my grandson Barenbu."
"Baima, Barenbu, call for help."
Baima brought his three-year-old son Barenbu to greet Rebecca.
"Hello, cousin, hello, aunt."
"Hello, cousin Ophelia, hello, Aunt Ophelia."
As the saying goes, don't hit a smiling person, Ophelia welcomed them warmly.
"Welcome uncle and cousin to attend the cubs' full moon ceremony. Please feel free to eat and drink."
