"What did you do? What did you do to my mother?" Zhao Yuanchong roared at Zhuang Rongrong.
"I didn't, little brother, you have to believe me, I didn't do anything, I don't know, I don't know..."
Zhuang Rongrong fell to the ground, her face pale.
"Call a doctor, quick!"
The servants hurriedly went to find a doctor.
Sun Changjing didn't dare to touch her casually, so he asked the nanny who had been following Wen Sang to carry her into the house.
Zhao Yuan was crying so hard his face was pale and he couldn't breathe. Sun Changjing grabbed him and comforted him, "Take a deep breath, don't rush, listen to my voice, inhale... exhale..."
"My...my mother..."
"Your mother is alright, don't worry." Sun Changjing patted his back, then turned his gaze to the dazed Zhuang Rongrong, "What you just did..."
Boom!
Sun Changjing looked up; it had gotten dark. He was somewhat incredulous. "You really can summon rain?"
As soon as he finished speaking, the dark clouds dispersed all at once, like a fleeting moment. If he hadn't seen it with his own eyes, he wouldn't have believed it.
Wen Sang's luck could only produce this one thunderclap; Zhuang Rongrong knew that Wen Sang was going to die.
She killed him.
Why have the clouds dispersed again?
“The Bodhisattva isn’t home,” Zhuang Rongrong said hoarsely. “I don’t know what happened to Mother. I didn’t do anything.”
Her pale face didn't seem like she was lying. Sun Changjing picked up Zhao Yuan and said, "Let's wait for the doctor to come."
A short while later, the doctor rushed over.
He checked her pulse, shook his head and sighed, "It's no use, the injury is too severe. Prepare for the worst."
"impossible!"
Zhao Yuan roared as if struck by lightning, "My mother couldn't be dead! She was perfectly fine just now! You liar, liar, cough cough cough cough."
He coughed violently and coughed up blood.
The doctor was terrified and ran off with his medicine kit. Sun Changjing frowned. "Go find more! Bring me all the doctors in Wuzhou City!"
Zhao Yuan cried until he nearly fainted, "Uncle Sun, my mother, what will happen to my mother..."
Zhuang Rongrong also started to cry softly.
Sun Changjing comforted him, "Don't worry, maybe the doctor's skills are not good. You're not feeling well, so don't get agitated."
"What happened?" Someone rushed in from outside the door. Sun Changjing looked up, frowned, and stood up.
What are you doing here?
You Rong peeked into the bed and exclaimed in alarm, "The guards came to pick us up and said you were at the Zhao family's house. They said there was a goddess who could summon rain, so we just happened to be passing by and came to take a look."
"Rongrong?"
"Brother Erqian?"
Zhuang Rongrong's eyes widened. "Why are you here?"
Zhou Erqian was excitedly about to take out the purse and speak when Zhuang Rongrong suddenly hugged him, covering the purse tightly. "Brother Erqian, I missed you so much."
Zhou Erqian's face turned bright red instantly.
Zhuang Rongrong was puzzled. She had clearly handed the purse to him, so why couldn't she summon Yu?
Did Zhou Sisi give him something?
Zhuang Rongrong quietly pulled Zhou Erqian out.
"Brother Erqian, what brings you here?"
Zhou Erqian pointed at Xu Zhenzhen and said, "I want to learn skills from Brother Xu and make something of myself."
Zhuang Rongrong glanced at it and didn't take it to heart. "Did you bring the sachet and pouch I gave you?"
"I will definitely take everything you give me."
Zhou Erqian took everything out of his arms, and Zhuang Rongrong immediately spotted the copper coin.
The shimmering white spiritual energy on the copper coin completely suppressed the aura emanating from her purse; no wonder she couldn't draw upon or summon rain.
"This copper coin..."
"It was that brat who gave it to me. She was reluctant to let me go after I left, and she cried and made a fuss, insisting on giving me this copper coin. I didn't even want it."
He looked disgusted, but he kept rubbing it in his hands, as if he couldn't put it down.
Zhuang Rongrong was a little jealous. "Brother Erqian, can I have this copper coin?"
What do you need this for?
"I…"
Just as she was about to answer, several doctors were hurriedly pulled into the room by servants, almost knocking her over.
Zhou Erqian casually stuffed the copper coins into his pocket and peeked into the room. "Why did you bring so many doctors?"
"..."
Zhuang Rongrong seemed a little uneasy.
"It's no use, it's no use, the person can't be saved."
The doctors who went in all came out again, and Zhao Yuan's heartbreaking cries erupted from inside the room.
Zhou Erqian asked blankly, "Who's going to die?"
Zhuang Rongrong opened her mouth, when suddenly a figure rushed into the room and bit her arm hard.
"It hurts!"
Zhou Erqian instinctively wanted to kick him, but Sun Changjing stopped him, grabbing Zhao Yuan's arm and saying, "Yuanyuan, let go, let go quickly."
Zhao Yuan made a firm decision, glaring fiercely at Zhuang Rongrong, convinced that she was the culprit who had killed her mother.
Zhuang Rongrong was in so much pain she almost fainted. In a flash, an idea suddenly came to her: "Brother, I can save Mother! I can save Mother!"
"You can save Wen Sang?" Sun Changjing sneered. "Even doctors can't save her, so why can you?"
"I have a Bodhisattva!"
Thinking of the thunderclap, Sun Changjing lowered his head and said to Zhao Yuan, "There really was thunder just now. Perhaps it really can save your mother."
Zhao Yuan finally relented, glaring fiercely at her, "If you can't save my mother, I'll make sure you die a horrible death!"
"I can do it, I can do it."
Zhuang Rongrong's voice trembled. Now, she could only try to absorb Zhou Erqian's luck to save Wen Sang, otherwise Zhao Yuan would not let her stay.
But even so, Zhou Erqian is going to die.
She turned to look at the person beside her, a pang of reluctance rising in her heart, but she quickly suppressed it.
She cannot be soft-hearted.
"Brother Erqian, I need to save Mother. Can you do me a favor? I'm too weak."
