"Just to be safe, it's best to check it out." Xu Zhenzhen raised his hand, and a maid entered the carriage.
A short while later, the maid came out and shook her head.
"Let's go into town!"
Soon, You Rong and her niece met. The two held hands intimately and talked about the past.
Zhou Erqian scratched his head. "Brother Xu, why is this lady's niece always wearing a veil?"
"Unmarried women do not meet with men outside the marriage."
"Alright." Zhou Erqian was about to continue practicing with the red-tasseled spear when a gaze suddenly fell upon him.

You Rong understood most of it at a glance; it seemed her niece had taken a liking to Zhou Erqian.
"Ranran, this is Guard Xu's apprentice."
Zhou Erqian bowed to her.
Ranran gave a soft "hmm," but her eyes never left the city lord's mansion. Seeing this, You Rong smiled and said, "Ranran, you've just arrived at the city lord's mansion. Why don't you let Erqian show you around?"
