Hua Yiyao seemed to be extremely tired and actually fell asleep on the desk, with a brush in his hand and a memorial under his head that he was about to review.
Su Yang closed the door quietly, walked to Hua Yiyao, took off his white cloak and covered Hua Yiyao with it. He saw the neatly rolled imperial edicts on the table. The axis of the imperial edict was engraved with two small words "Lizhou". Su Yang guessed that it was the legendary Five States Peace Agreement, and opened it with some curiosity to take a look.
Some regulations are clearly written on it, and the seals of various countries are printed on it.
The Saint Seal of Xuezhou Saint Lingfei; the private seal of Huazhou Prince Hua Yihen; the jade seal of Shuizhou Emperor Shui Lianche; the prince seal of Yuzhou Prince Yuya; and the imperial seal of Huazhou Emperor Ji Xingzhi.
Suddenly, Su Yang was slightly startled. Ji Xingzhi… Xingzhi… Xue Zhao?! Impossible! Xue Zhao is clearly a woman! How could she be the Emperor of Lizhou?
Su Yang thought to herself that she was overthinking it. She had met the Emperor of Lizhou at the Lizhou state banquet. He was dignified, handsome, and had an extraordinary bearing. How could it be the heartless Xue Zhao?
Just as he was thinking, Su Yang suddenly paused slightly, and saw the memorial that Hua Yiyao was holding out of the corner of his eye. It said something about the Prime Minister's daughter and the rest of the text was covered by Hua Yiyao's head and hands. Su Yang couldn't see it, but he saw the red font that had been approved under Hua Yiyao's hand. Su Yang unconsciously bent down to look, wanting to see what Hua Yiyao had written.
However, Su Yang had lowered himself low enough, but still couldn't see. He glanced at Hua Yiyao, who seemed to be sleeping soundly. Su Yang gently moved Hua Yiyao's hand, but at this moment, Hua Yiyao suddenly said, "What are you doing?"
Su Yang's body stiffened, and he stiffly turned his head to look at Hua Yiyao. Hua Yiyao was still lying on the table, looking at Su Yang with his eyes open. When their eyes met, Su Yang suddenly widened his eyes, obviously startled, and screamed slowly: "Ah!"
Hua Yi Yao frowned, grabbed Su Yang's hand with his backhand and pulled hard, and Su Yang fell into Hua Yi Yao's arms gorgeously.
"What are you doing?" Hua Yiyao asked stubbornly.
Su Yang sat on Hua Yiyao's lap, not daring to move. He raised the imperial edict in his hand, which he hadn't put down yet, and said, "I'm just curious and want to take a look at this Five States Contract..."
Hua Yiyao frowned in dissatisfaction and said, "I'm not asking you that. I'm asking, why are you holding my hand?"
Su Yang twitched the corner of his mouth, not knowing how to respond. His eyes glanced at the brush that Hua Yiyao had thrown on the table. Su Yang's eyes lit up, and he pointed at the brush on the table and said, "I want to help you put the brush away."
Hua Yiyao raised his eyebrows noncommittally and said, "Let's take it as it is."
Hearing Hua Yiyao's obvious tone of disbelief, Su Yang became unhappy and said with a stern face: "What do you mean, just take it as it is? This is the fact!"
Hua Yiyao suddenly sighed, holding Su Yang with one hand and taking the brush with the other, and said with a sad face: "Alas, I thought you cared about this memorial."
As he said that, Hua Yiyao took a brush and crossed out the four words "let's discuss it later" and wrote the word "approved" on the memorial again.
Su Yang suddenly glared: "You...are you so accurate?"
"The person I like doesn't care anyway." Hua Yiyao said lightly.
Su Yang subconsciously ignored Hua Yiyao's words, looked up at Hua Yiyao and asked, "Don't you want to go and see Jin Yu yourself? What if you don't like her?"
