Chapter 136 "You are finally mine."

Chapter 136 "You are finally mine."

——

After Song Shiyi finished tidying up, she finally had time to turn on her phone.

Upon seeing the news that Song's parents were worried, she pursed her lips, thought for a moment, and decided to go find them.

Mom and Dad must be terribly worried.

She had been with her friends the whole time, and she knew her parents well; they probably felt that her presence made the younger generation feel uncomfortable.

With He Jinzhao by my side, I can at least feel a little more at ease.

She thought for a moment and then sent a message to He Jinzhao.

I'm going to visit my parents.

She was afraid that if He Jinzhao came looking for her later and couldn't find her, and she was chatting with her parents and hadn't checked her phone, he would worry.

It's better to say something in advance.

She wrapped herself in a coat, her pale face showing, and hurried toward Mr. and Mrs. Song.

On the way, her phone vibrated. She thought it was a message from He Jinzhao, but when she swiped to open the screen, she stopped in her tracks.

【Yiyi, I'm sorry to bother you at this time.】

Your sister-in-law just woke up and is making a fuss about wanting to see you.

I know you've had a lot of a fright tonight, and I shouldn't trouble you further, but since she did it in front of you, could you come over if it's convenient for you now? If not, that's okay too; I'll think of another way.

Shen Yanci's words seemed reasonable on the surface, but they were actually a form of moral blackmail against her.

If she refuses, there might be new trouble.

She bit her lower lip, her fingertips lingering on the screen for a moment.

Well, since it happened on her turf, there's no harm in going to check it out.

She replied quickly: "I'm coming over now."

Shen Yanci replied almost instantly: 【I'll be waiting for you by the elevator on the east side of the third floor. Thank you for your help.】

Song Shiyi did not reply.

She lowered her eyes and pondered for a moment, keeping a watchful eye on things.

She opened He Jinzhao's chat window, but he hadn't replied yet. She moved her finger down slightly, then turned off her phone and turned to walk towards the elevator on the east side.

The corridors on the cruise ship were covered with thick carpets, absorbing all footsteps. Only the wall lamps cast warm yellow light, casting long shadows on the floor.

As she approached the elevator, she spotted Shen Yanci's figure in the distance.

He stood with his back to her in front of the elevator, his figure tall and straight, his profile still handsome, but his face was a little pale, and there was a lingering weariness between his brows. He looked like he was in a real mess.

"Brother Yanci," Song Shiyi called softly.

Shen Yanci turned around abruptly, his eyes brightening instantly, but he quickly concealed the unusual heat and replaced it with a gentle expression.

"Yi-yi, you've come."

He leaned slightly forward as he spoke, his voice low and carrying just the right amount of concern.

"How are you? Were you scared?"

Song Shiyi shook her head, not wanting to talk to him any longer, and just wanted to go see Ren Xiangxue as soon as possible before going back.

"We need to hurry..."

Just as she raised her eyes, she saw Shen Yanci suddenly step forward, holding a folded piece of black velvet cloth in his hand.

Before she could react, the cloth was suddenly covered over her mouth and nose.

A pungent, sweet smell instantly filled Song Shiyi's nostrils, causing her pupils to shrink and her to instinctively try to struggle.

But his limbs felt as if all the strength had been drained from them, his head was extremely dizzy, and his consciousness began to blur within a few seconds.

“Chen…Yanci…you…”

Her voice was as faint as a mosquito's buzz. In her last moments of clarity, she could only see the obsession and madness surging in Shen Yanci's eyes, a stark contrast to his previous worried expression.

Shen Yanci covered her mouth and nose tightly until she completely collapsed into his arms before slowly letting go.

He carefully picked up Song Shiyi horizontally. The girl's body was incredibly light. Her pale face was bloodless, and her long eyelashes drooped, like a fragile porcelain doll that had lost consciousness.

The elevator doors opened at that very moment, and the elevator was empty.

Shen Yanci carried her inside, his fingertips trembling slightly as he pressed the button for the second basement level.

As the elevator descended, he gazed down at the sleeping face of the person in his arms, his thumb gently caressing her soft cheek, his eyes filled with an almost greedy infatuation.

“One by one,” he murmured, his voice filled with suppressed longing, “you are finally mine.”

He sat on the edge of the bed, staring motionlessly at the sleeping girl, his fingers occasionally brushing lightly through her hair, as if admiring a rare treasure that had been lost and found again.

The room was so quiet that only their breathing could be heard. In the darkness, a strange light gleamed in his eyes, like a hunter who had been lying in wait for a long time and had finally captured his desired prey.

The crew members working on the ship were still putting up the finishing touches.

No one noticed, and no one saw.

By the time they all realized it, it was already too late.

He just didn't like motionless puppets; he wanted the other person to see clearly how he had obtained her.

He didn't give her too much of a sleeping potion; she would wake up in half an hour at most.

He's right here, and he's very patient.

After a while, Song Shiyi slowly woke up.

Her eyelids felt as heavy as if they were glued on, and she struggled to lift them several times before she could barely open them a crack.

Everything in sight was spinning. In the dimly lit room, only a faint light outlined a blurry shape.

His limbs were weak and limp, and even raising his hands was extremely difficult.

What's wrong with her?

My stagnant brain slowly began to turn.

Oh, right.

It seems she's going to find her parents...

Then……

Fragmented images exploded in my mind.

The gentle smile of Shen Yanci beside the elevator, the sudden black velvet cloth covering my face, the pungent, sweet smell, and the undisguised madness and infatuation in his eyes before I lost consciousness...

With a "buzz," Song Shiyi's heart suddenly clenched, and the blood in his body seemed to freeze instantly.

She turned her head sharply and saw Shen Yanci sitting on the wooden chair by the bed, leaning slightly forward, staring intently at her.

His gaze was so intense, like a red-hot iron, filled with a greedy possessiveness that it almost burned her skin.

"Chen Yan Ci..."

Her voice was weak and trembling uncontrollably, "Where is this? Why did you bring me here? Let me go!"

She struggled to sit up, but her body felt limp as if she had no bones. She managed to prop herself up a little before falling heavily back onto the bed, the force of her back hitting the mattress making her groan.

This feeling of utter helplessness and complete loss of control allows fear to creep up on your heart like vines.

She bit her lower lip hard, forcing back the tears welling in her eyes, leaving only pure anger and disgust in them.

Shen Yanci didn't speak, but slowly raised his hand, his fingertips carrying a slightly cool temperature, and gently stroked her cheek.

The touch made Song Shiyi stiffen, as if she had been touched by something dirty.

She jerked her head away to dodge, but his other hand gripped her chin tightly, forcing her to turn back and look at him.

His thumb caressed her trembling lower lip, a smile almost gentle on his face, his tone terrifyingly obsessive.

"Yi-yi, stop fooling around."
