"You're courting death!" He waved his hands, and more metal fragments flew up from the corner, condensing into a rough but thick metal shield in front of him. Just as Wang Gang turned around, his mind reeling, Ruan Ning's eyes flashed with cold light, and her left hand clenched into a fist in the air!
Instead of conjuring a water shield or water blade, he pushed his fourth-order water-based ability to its limit, combined with precise mental targeting, aiming directly at the wound on Wang Gang's body that was gushing blood, and the surging blood circulation in his body!

Meanwhile, the fire, already under Ruan Ning's command, had blocked several exits of the warehouse. Like a golden grim reaper, it moved through the chaotic crowd.
Those superhumans who tried to escape with Wang Gang became the primary targets.
Just as a second-tier earth-elemental ability user erected an earthen wall to try and stop the fire, the fire crashed into the wall and shattered his throat.

Wang Gang was the last to fall. Blood flowed from his seven orifices, and the main blood vessels and organs in his body had been completely destroyed by the water-based energy controlled by Ruan Ning. He fell straight forward, twitched twice, and then fell silent, his eyes wide open, dying with unfinished business.
He never understood what kind of being he had provoked until his death.
The fire, covered in blood (from the enemy), stood in the center of the warehouse, letting out a low, imposing roar to confirm that there was no living threat.
Lin Yan leaned on her knife, slightly out of breath, with several new wounds on her body, none of them serious. Zhou Min's face was pale, her mental energy greatly depleted, but her eyes were resolute.
Ruan Ning walked to Wang Gang's body, used the tip of his knife to pry open his clothes, and found a small cloth bag containing more than a dozen crystal cores of different colors, which were the savings of this small base.
She glanced at the warehouse again, ignoring the scattered items on the other corpses.
"Da Huo, go outside and check if anyone has escaped or dared to approach," Ruan Ning ordered. "Lin Yan, Zhou Min, hurry up and collect useful supplies, mainly their weapons and crystal cores."
With a low growl, the fire burst forth from the warehouse and quickly surveyed the base. The remaining elderly, women, children, and a few men who hadn't participated in the battle were already terrified and hid, trembling, too afraid to show themselves.
Lin Yan and Zhou Min acted quickly, searching the corpses of the superhumans and finding a small number of crystal cores and relatively intact weapons such as daggers and short axes.
