After going around in circles, he returned to the city, and his other attempts at other genres failed one after another.
To be honest, I regret it too.
From my first book, The Rancher (Harmony), which was a minor hit, to my later books, Born in Chinatown and Wall Street Legends, I have received support from many readers who like urban novels. However, I have repeatedly transformed myself into a man of many different styles, which has disappointed many people.
It has been almost four years since I started writing books in my junior year of college. I have been writing until now and I think I will continue to do so in the future. Maybe it is because I am no longer young, but my restless thoughts have gradually calmed down. I can finally calm down and create well, focusing on the direction of writing that I am good at.
Both Chinatown and Wall Street ended hastily and with a whimper due to their insufficient accumulation and experience.
In order to make up for the lack, I reread the two books and the original "The Ranchero", and then this book "Return to Los Angeles" was born.
How should I put it? I originally wanted to depict the background of the times more completely. However, due to some well-known reasons, I was unable to write in detail and could only briefly mention it. It's a pity. The initial perspective was more focused on the small area of Chinatown and also more focused on life.
This book has just begun, and if nothing goes wrong, it should be written in more detail and longer than before. I also know that the bad habit of skipping plots in the past has greatly affected the reading experience, so please feel free to read this book.
As for the amount of updates, I will aim for a minimum of 6,000 words after the release, and strive to reach 8,000 to 10,000 words. I am a person with clumsy hands and a procrastinating nature, so I will not stop until life is tough.
I will post five chapters at noon tomorrow, and another five chapters in the evening. In fact, until now, I still don’t have even a single word saved (I don’t have the habit of saving drafts, and I become lax once I have a draft. This is my personality, and I haven’t been able to change it even after years of revisions).
I said the above sentence to force myself to cheer up and set a flag.
Thank you to editor Winnie who has always been with me and has supported me despite my efforts. I would also like to thank old and new readers for their support. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
It's not easy to write code, and I'm injured, so please support the original version.
