Chapter 17 Sisters Talk

"Wow, it's so warm in bed." Jian Yunxi squinted his eyes comfortably while lying in bed.

"Sister, tell me the truth, did you ask me to come back because no one warms your bed?" Jian Yun laughed. She didn't know what her sister's constitution was. Her hands and feet were always cold in winter. She had been complaining since she was a child because her sister would put her cold feet on her.

She originally thought that if she and her sister slept separately, she would not be frozen if they slept together, but one night she almost suffocated to death.

Her elder sister looked at her with pitiful eyes, "Little sister, you were grinding your teeth so loudly that I thought my ears were going to be eaten off."

Jian Yun smiled helplessly. What else could she do? She could only pamper her elder sister herself.

Jian Yunxi had asked her mother more than once why she couldn't keep her bed warm in winter. Her mother said, "Who knows how you inherited it? You're the only one in the family with this constitution."

"Little sister, are you asleep? Let's chat." Jian Yunxi felt that she didn't get enough sleep before the holiday, and she couldn't sleep again on the first day of the holiday.

"What are we talking about?" Jian Yunxiao couldn't sleep either. After sleeping on a hard bed at school for a whole semester, she suddenly slept on a soft Simmons mattress at home, with a large quilt that her mother had dried in the sun and smelled of. She felt so happy.

"Let's talk about that yellow-haired guy." Although Jian Yunxi swore to Ms. Li Meiling that nothing had happened between her sister and that boy at that time, she still remembered that there was some entanglement between them in the previous life.

"Sister, why are you the same as mom? She doesn't have yellow hair, it's just naturally yellow hair." Jian Yunxiao was so angry that she laughed. Although she really had nothing to do with Qiu Ze, she didn't want to hear her family slandering others.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I just didn't know his name, so I used this word to describe him. You'll know who it is once I say it." Jian Yunxi felt very sorry for the man named Qiu Ze, since she had explained it to him before.

"You are a top student and yet you use adjectives randomly!" Jian Yunxiao knew her sister's intention. Isn't she just a gossiper? She didn't know why her sister, who was already a senior in high school, still had time to care about other people's affairs.

"I've said it countless times, I have nothing to do with Qiu Ze. It was indeed his bicycle that broke down that day, so I was kind enough to give him a ride. Who knew it was such a coincidence that I would be seen by my mom." Jian Yunxiao felt depressed whenever she thought about this incident. She was innocent!

"When Qiu Ze saw our mom, he just jumped out of the car and ran away without saying a word, looking like a guilty thief. Besides, he was doing well in school, so why would he go to your school?" In fact, Jian Yunxi looked down on Qiu Ze's behavior from the bottom of her heart. He was irresponsible.

"I didn't know the reason when I called him last time. Later I found out that Qiu Ze's father was transferred to our school, so he had to transfer with him." Jian Yunxiao didn't have any other ideas. It couldn't be that the other person was going there for her. She wouldn't be so self-indulgent.

Although Jian Yunxi felt strange in her heart, she didn't know how to express it. Her sister had been surrounded by many boys since she was a child. Jian Yunxi knew that they all liked her sister, but Jian Yunxiao was a carefree person, and she thought that everyone was a good friend and a good buddy.

"Sister, you really don't deserve your face. You are so beautiful, isn't it normal for boys to like you!" Jian Yunxiao was 170 cm tall when she entered high school, with long legs, a face as small as a palm, a pair of big and bright eyes, a high nose bridge, and a small mouth. Her every frown and smile is exactly the same as Ms. Li Meiling.

Although everyone who has seen the two sisters says that they look exactly the same, Jian Yunxi is just an enlarged, wider and shorter version of Jian Yunxiao. Jian Yunxi touched the fat on her belly again. Oh, no, it's the fat version.

"Sister, you always think too much. You received love letters from boys in junior high school. Look at me, I don't even know what a love letter looks like." Jian Yunxiao tried to expose Jian Yunxi's scar again. That was not a love letter; that was the source of her first beating.

"Well, let's not talk about it. Don't bring up my dark history. How can a love letter be unsigned? I don't want to think about that kind of scumbag anymore." Jian Yunxi wanted to complain when he recalled the experience of being beaten.

At that time, Jian Yunxi was in the second grade of junior high school. The classmates in her class were just beginning to fall in love and were ignorant. She was popular and often gave love letters to her classmates. While giving love letters, she somehow got another letter in her hand. She found out that it was written to her by someone else, but she was mysterious and refused to say who it was.

Jian Yunxi didn't take it seriously. She stuffed the letter into the back pocket of her jeans and forgot about it. When she got home, she bent down to change her shoes. Her mother saw the bulge on her buttocks and reached out to pull out a letter.

This was a terrible sight. Ms. Li Meiling's face kept changing like a palette. Finally, she grabbed Jian Yunxi's ear and asked her who wrote it to her. How could Jian Yunxi know? Her mother thought she was lying, so she dragged her to the yard and hit her several times with a broom. Jian Yunxi screamed and cried, and her father quickly came out to rescue her and asked her to go back to her room to reflect.

What was she reflecting on? She was almost mad. Jian Yunxi kept crying in the room. She felt her self-esteem was hurt. Her brothers and sisters were watching her, but her mother was so cruel.

Jian Yunxi was so angry that she didn't even eat dinner. She just lay in bed without saying a word, her tears soaking her pillow.

"Do you think I shouldn't hit you?" Ms. Li Meiling brought a bowl of noodles and placed it on her bedside. She was still angry, and immediately turned her face away, not wanting to see her mother.
