Chapter 24 Did I Hurt You?

Jian Yunxi received too many frights at night and developed a high fever when she returned home. She had to be given intravenous drips whenever she had a fever since she was a child because of the experience of convulsions during high fever when she was a child.

She was less than one year old at the time, had a fever and kept crying, and her father was not at home, so her mother had to put her in the baby seat of her bicycle and ride her to the hospital.

As a result, halfway through the journey, her mother looked back out of concern and saw that her arms and legs were all straight. She was so frightened that she fainted off the bicycle.

Fortunately, there were a few villagers who were enjoying the cool under a tree nearby. Two of them moved her out of the baby seat, and two of them carried her mother to a nearby clinic.

In fact, she just had a high fever and convulsions, but she was the first child and her mother didn't understand anything. So from then on, whenever Jian Yunxi had a fever, Ms. Li Meiling would unconsciously tremble and feel anxious, and she couldn't control her urge to faint. Every time, her grandmother had to take her to the hospital for an IV drip.

So when Jian Yunxi was just reborn, his mother fainted, and his grandmother even rushed back from the county town.

Jian Yunxi saw Ms. Li Meiling shaking her hands and trying to make a phone call, "Mom, don't call grandma. It's too late and she can't take a bus back. She knows she'll be worried."

"I know. I called your dad."

Jian Yunxi hadn't had a fever for a long time, but she felt really uncomfortable. She had a splitting headache and aches all over her body. The high fever made her feel like even her breath was steaming.

Her father rushed back and took her to the hospital for emergency treatment. There were not many people in the infusion room. Comrade Jian Feng put two chairs together and lay on them. He then found an empty saline bottle and filled it with hot water to cover her arm.

After an unknown amount of time, Jian Yunxi's headache was no longer so painful, and her body felt much more relaxed. She vaguely heard the nurse remind her father, "This bottle of water is slow, and it hurts to hang it. You can rub the blood vessels around the child to relieve the pain."

Jian Yunxi watched her father gently massaging her and constantly comforting her, "It doesn't hurt, it doesn't hurt."

Jian Yunxi burst into tears again, fortunately her father was not like that.
