Jian Yunxi felt sore all over from sleeping. When she opened her eyes, she saw her sister lying on the bed, looking at her with her big eyes blinking.
"Oh my god, you scared me, what are you doing?"
"Sister, we're waiting for you to get up and bring us presents!"
Jian Yunxi stretched her head and looked outside, and sure enough, she saw her brother waiting outside.
"I'm really convinced. It's just this big conch!" Jian Yunxi climbed down from the bed resignedly and took out everything in the suitcase.
"Wow, this is the conch of my dreams. How come it is so beautiful? This big conch is much more beautiful than the one my dad brought back from Lianyungang."
Jian Yunxi suspected that her sister had the same collecting habit as her, as she could not put down hairpins, earrings, and stationery. On Jian Yunxiao's desk were several large conch shells, clay dolls from Wuxi, cloth tigers, and a round fan that she bought in Nanjing last time.
Jian Yunfang couldn't let go of the warship. Boys like swords and guns, and the entire warship was made of bullet shells.
Jian Yunxi took out the local specialties he had bought and asked his mother to take them to his uncle's house to share. He also bought a fighter jet model for his cousin and asked his mother to take it over as well.
After she finished her work, she realized that she had forgotten to reply to Lu Yang's message, so she quickly opened her phone and logged into Penguin.
Lu Yang: Yunxi, I'm home.
Lu Yang: I really don’t want to be separated from you!
Lu Yang: I'm going to take a shower first.
Lu Yang: Yunxi, are you asleep?
Lu Yang: Good night, girlfriend.
Jian Yunxi was speechless. How could she fall asleep like that and miss Lu Yang's message?
It’s Clouds, Not Moon: Sorry, Lu Yang, I just woke up.
It’s the clouds, not the moon: I was so sleepy last night that I fell asleep without knowing it.
It’s the Clouds, Not the Moon: I just went to divide up the gifts I brought back.
Lu Yang called directly.
"Hey, Lu Yang, aren't roaming charges too expensive?" Jian Yunxi only heard Lu Yang's low laugh.
"But I want to hear your voice, Yunxi. I've been apart from you for less than a day and I'm already missing you."
Jian Yunxi felt as if a feather had gently brushed against her heart, making her feel itchy, and her face instantly flushed: "I miss you, too."
"Yunxi, I will go directly to Beijing as soon as the notice comes."
"Ah? Oh!" Jian Yunxi felt an inexplicable sense of loss.
Lu Yang was also very conflicted. His senior had called him and asked him to report to the company as soon as possible. With one month left before school started, he needed to self-study many courses so that he could make it in time for the ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest. He did not want to give up this opportunity.
"Yunxi, I'll wait for you in Beijing."
Lu Yang's notice arrived faster than Jian Yunxi's. Looking at the message from Lu Yang on his phone, Jian Yunxi was very happy for him, but of course he was also depressed for a long time.
However, within a few days, she had no time to care about her emotions, because her admission letter arrived. Jian Yunxi held the admission letter from the Law School of Peking University with tears in her eyes. Finally, she realized her dream of studying law in this life.
And it is the dream school that she has always longed for and worked hard for.
In the following days, Jian Yunxi shared the admission information with his friends. Chen Shasha, Liu Meng and Song Xing were all admitted to their first choice.
Song Mian and Zhao Yiran went to Yangzhou University together. I heard that Xu Qingchen actually went to a medical university, while Shen Haochi went to a third-tier university just like in his previous life.
Jian Yunxi's family was busy preparing a school banquet. When she saw the red archway ordered for her by her relatives and friends, Jian Yunxi had to accept everyone's kindness, although usually only people getting married would make it so grand.
Grandpa and grandma were grinning from ear to ear. Jian Yunxi finally saw Jiang Mu again on this day.
"Cousin, this is for you." Jiang Mu's skin was tanned and shiny, with a mouthful of big white teeth showing.
Jian Yunxi almost didn't dare to recognize him, "Jiang Mu, did you go to Africa to dig coal?"
She didn't dare to associate the black charcoal in front of her with the noble young man from the past.
"You are really a dog that can't spit out ivory. Open it and see if you like it."
Jian Yunxi opened the package and found a Coach bag inside. "This is too expensive, I can't have it!" You must be kidding. She's a poor college student carrying a bag worth thousands of dollars.
Jiang Mu rolled his eyes at her, "This is still expensive, you don't know how much my mom's donkey brand is!"
"What donkey brand?" Jian Yunxi wondered, could there be a luxury product that can be translated as donkey brand?
"It's that LV. If you put it together, it looks like a donkey!"
Jian Yunxi almost died of laughter. Jiang Mu was too mean.
"Just keep it. HKU awarded me a large scholarship. When I get rich, I will buy you a donkey brand."
"But I haven't prepared any gifts for you," Jian Yunxi said in annoyance. She didn't expect Jiang Mu to come back. Didn't he say he wouldn't come back?
"Then you can owe it to me first and give it to me later. Anyway, I've already guessed that you don't consider me as your brother at all." Jiang Mu's voice suddenly dropped.
This made Jian Yunxi feel even more guilty. She was about to apologize, but she found that Jiang Mu had a smug look on his face. "Cousin, you lied to me. Just wait and see if I don't beat you up."
The two of them were fighting and playing around, and the adults in the family were used to it.
Jiang Mu left the next day. Jian Yunxi found out when she got up. She felt a little disappointed. She didn't know if they would meet again after this separation. After all, Jiang Mu was a very casual person.
Jian Yunfang had to undergo a half-month military training to enter the first year of high school. Jian Yunxi was kind enough to give him sunscreen, but he refused to use it. As a result, he became darker than Jiang Mu in just one day, and his neck was even sunburned and peeling.
Jian Yunxi felt distressed when she saw it, but her brother didn't feel it at all.
"If I join the army in the future, I will be exposed to the sun even more, so I have to get used to it in advance." Jian Yunxi only then realized that her brother's dream was to become a glorious member of the People's Liberation Army.
