Chapter 1 Back to the 1970s

The author has something to say: It’s a new book, there’s no logic, if you argue you’re right.

"Oh, my God!" When Liu Yanran opened her eyes, she saw a young woman with eyes as red as a rabbit's from crying.

She remembered being swindled out of everything by that despicable man, leaving her disfigured. Even more tragically, she was sold to Myanmar, where even her kidneys were removed, ultimately leading to her death. And now, she was alive again?

"Yanran, are you okay? I didn't mean it." The young woman asked sobbingly.

Liu Yanran felt a sudden stabbing pain in her head, and an unfamiliar memory flooded back. It turned out that she was no longer that pitiful woman, but had traveled back to the 1970s, to 1978. At this time, the college entrance examination had just been reinstated, and educated youth were beginning to return to their hometowns. Well, not bad. She was already a businesswoman, and she believed she could make a difference in this era.

The original owner's name was Liu Yanran, the youngest daughter in the family, with three older brothers and one older sister. The eldest brother was Liu Guoqiang, the second brother was Liu Guodong, the third sister was Liu Pianran, and the fourth brother was Liu Guoxing.

Her father, Liu Chunping, was the deputy director of a steel mill, and her mother, Cao Cuilan, was an accountant there. They had been dedicated, hardworking, and honest throughout their lives. So, when it came time to join the production team in the countryside, they didn't resort to backdoor connections, but instead sent their beloved daughter, whom they had cherished since childhood. Fortunately, the Youth Educated Office recognized their honesty and simple nature and arranged for their daughter, Liu Pianran, to live in the Northeast, where living conditions were relatively better.

The Liu family has five children. The eldest and second are both boys, the third is a girl, and the fourth and fifth are twins, a boy and a girl.

Today, my eldest and second oldest brothers are both serving in the army and have achieved considerable success. My eldest brother, 31, is stationed on the border with Vietnam and has already assumed the position of regimental commander. My eldest sister-in-law and her son are also with the troops, and the family lives a happy and harmonious life.

My second brother is 28 years old and is also a battalion commander. My second sister-in-law and her twin daughters are also in the army, and they take care of each other.

The third sister is Liu Pianran, who is 24 years old this year. After graduating from high school, she was arranged to go to the countryside in Northeast China. Due to her relatively good family conditions, she has been spoiled since childhood and has a simple and kind personality, a bit naive.

When she first went to the countryside, she brought many good things with her and lived a relatively comfortable life. However, fate played a trick on her. In the village, she met another educated youth, Lin Ye, and they fell in love. The two soon became a couple.

However, just before the college entrance examination, Liu Pianran discovered that she was pregnant. The pregnancy reaction made it impossible for her to concentrate on her studies, which ultimately led to unsatisfactory results and failure.

Lin Ye was admitted to university and abandoned Liu Yuzhen and their unborn child without hesitation, leaving her and her daughter in the countryside.

It was not until the policy of returning educated youth to their hometowns was implemented that Liu Pianran returned to her home in Suzhou with her daughter.

Fourth brother Liu Guoxing also took the college entrance exam this year. His results were excellent, and if nothing unexpected happened, he should have been able to get into a university in the capital. However, someone impersonated him, and since he thought he had failed, he's become frustrated and is now staying in his room in depression.

The original owner, Liu Yanran, was a twin with her fourth brother, but unfortunately, she was born a moron. Despite this, her family didn't give up on her and continued to care for her wholeheartedly, hoping that she would grow up healthy. Even if she needed her family's care for her entire life, they were willing to shoulder that responsibility.

However, a sudden misfortune shattered the peace of this family. When the elder sister learned that the scumbag had a new girlfriend in college, she felt so despairing and heartbroken that she chose to hang herself. Unfortunately, the rope was not strong enough, and the elder sister fell from the height, hitting Liu Yanran.

In the end, her sister was safe and sound, but the unlucky original owner lost her life. When Liu Yanran opened her eyes again, she found that she had turned into a soul from the 21st century.

Liu Yanran sighed helplessly. This third sister was just like her 21st century self, both of them were in love! Facts tell us that being in love is not good, it might even cost someone their life! "Third sister, I'm fine, don't cry."

"That's good. You scared me to death just now." Liu Pianran stopped crying and burst into laughter.

Liu Yanran looked at her, feeling a thousand emotions in her heart. She decided to change this ill-fated family and let everyone live a happy life.

First, she had to help her third sister get out of the dark and pick herself up again. Then, she had to encourage her fourth brother to study hard for the exam and get into his ideal university.

Liu Yanran believes that with her efforts, this family will definitely get better and better.

Liu Yanran decided to start with her fourth brother Liu Guoxing. She walked into the room and saw her fourth brother lying on the bed in a depressed mood.

"Fourth brother, what's wrong with you?" Liu Yanran asked with concern.

Liu Guoxing turned over and sat up, saying helplessly: "I'm really useless. I studied hard for several years but still couldn't pass the exam." After graduating from junior high school, Liu Guoxing stopped studying and studied at home. His parents also gave him full understanding. He felt really sorry not only for himself but also for his parents for not passing the exam.

Liu Yanran comforted him, "Fourth brother, don't be discouraged. Gold will always shine. Failure is the mother of success. Let's go to the capital together next year."

Liu Guoxing didn't expect his silly sister to say such sensible things. It was quite novel. However, it was unlikely that they would take the exam together. Their little idiot had never been to school! "What nonsense are you talking about? You haven't been to school either. But you're right. I can't give up. I'll tell my parents that I'm going to cram school."
